# Preflight Checklist

Use this checklist before the user leaves Codex to submit on Devpost.

## Core Readiness

- Rules review acknowledged
- Project concept recorded in state
- Build is real enough to describe honestly
- Submission draft file exists

## Submission Materials

- AI usage explained
- Codex usage explained
- Testing instructions included
- Public repo link present or explicitly marked TODO
- Public demo link present or explicitly marked TODO
- Demo video plan or URL present or explicitly marked TODO
- Screenshot shot list present

## Compliance

- Draft does not hide unresolved placeholders
- Build claims do not overstate what the project does
- Obvious anti-pattern issues have been addressed or acknowledged
- Local security scan has no high-confidence exposed secrets
- Credential-looking files are not tracked or are explicitly confirmed safe placeholders
- Submission copy does not claim auth, privacy, or data handling guarantees the app cannot support

## Suggested Rubric

When practical, score the review out of 100 using a lightweight rubric:
- 30 points for submission completeness
- 25 points for honesty and specificity
- 20 points for demo and repo readiness
- 15 points for testing and judge usability
- 10 points for compliance, security, and anti-pattern avoidance
