# Authorship and E-E-A-T

Author boxes and profile pages as verifiable trust signals for generative
systems.

## The mechanic

Generative systems prefer sources whose authorship is checkable. Anonymous
content sends no trust signal and loses retrieval to named content with provable
expertise. E-E-A-T stands for Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness,
Trustworthiness.

## Rules

1. **Author boxes on every article.** Show name, credentials, role, and links to
professional profiles (for example LinkedIn) directly at the content.

2. **Dedicated author profile pages.** Give each author a detailed profile page
with expertise, experience, and a publication list. Mark these pages up as
   `Person` in Schema.org (see `semantic-html.md`).

3. **External consistency.** The person's details must match external profiles.
Contradictions lower trust in every source tied to the brand (see
   `offpage-mentions.md`).
