ProdVerity

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 11, 2026.

ProdVerity is a read-only production-verification service published by Great Skills Academy. It is designed to inspect information that is already publicly reachable on HTTPS websites.

Information processed

When a user asks ProdVerity to inspect a website, the service processes the public hostname or URL supplied by that user and the public HTTP responses needed to complete the selected check. When a site publishes a ProdVerity manifest, the service may also request the same-origin public paths declared in that manifest.

What ProdVerity does not request

The public plugin does not ask users for target-site passwords, API keys, access tokens, payment data or other authentication secrets. URLs containing embedded credentials are rejected. The service does not intentionally access private networks, localhost, custom ports or private IP addresses.

Storage and logging

ProdVerity does not intentionally persist target response bodies as application records. Responses are processed in memory to produce the requested result. Standard operational and security metadata may be processed or retained by the hosting, network and logging infrastructure used to run Great Skills Academy, subject to those providers' policies and configured retention.

Results returned to the user

ProdVerity returns only bounded diagnostic information relevant to the requested check, such as HTTP status, final public URL, page title, selected security-header presence, declared health-check results and a public release marker. It is designed not to return credentials or unrelated response contents.

Third-party websites

When you ask ProdVerity to inspect a third-party website, that website may receive ordinary network metadata associated with an HTTPS request from the service infrastructure. Use ProdVerity only for lawful checks of public endpoints.

Children and sensitive information

ProdVerity is a developer and operations utility. Do not use it to submit sensitive personal information or to attempt to access private user data.

Changes

This policy may be updated as ProdVerity adds capabilities. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
