ProdVerity

Terms of Use

Effective date: September 11, 2026.

ProdVerity is a read-only utility for checking public HTTPS web applications. By using it, you agree to these terms.

Permitted use

You may use ProdVerity to inspect publicly accessible web applications for ordinary operational purposes such as reachability, public release evidence, deterministic health checks and common security-header configuration.

Prohibited use

You must not use ProdVerity to attempt to access private networks, bypass authentication, discover secrets, interfere with a service, evade access controls, overload a target, or perform unlawful security testing. The service intentionally blocks direct IP targets, local/private hostnames, custom ports and cross-domain redirects.

No mutation or deployment

The public ProdVerity plugin does not deploy code, modify target systems or authenticate into them. A successful ProdVerity check means only that the declared public evidence was observed at the time of the check.

No visual certification

ProdVerity does not render pages as a human browser and therefore does not certify visual appearance. A technical deployment result must not be represented as visual verification.

No security certification

The security-header tool is a limited configuration check and is not a penetration test, vulnerability assessment, compliance audit or security certification.

Availability

The service may apply reasonable rate limits, abuse controls, maintenance windows or capability changes to preserve reliability and safety. Results may also depend on the availability and behavior of the target website and network providers.

Third-party services

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of ProdVerity complies with the terms and policies applicable to websites you ask it to inspect.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the service evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
