# Humanization method

## Meaning before style

Delete filler before adding personality. Replace abstractions with the most specific supported fact, action, constraint, example, or consequence. Keep useful repetition when it aids comprehension; remove repetition that merely fills space.

## Sentence craft

- Prefer active, concrete verbs when responsibility is known.
- Vary sentence length for meaning and emphasis, not by random alteration.
- Combine fragments that feel artificially punchy; split overloaded sentences.
- Use contractions, particles, idioms, slang, and parenthetical remarks only when natural for the writer and medium.
- Let some transitions remain implicit when the logical connection is obvious.

## Structure

- Start where the reader's attention genuinely belongs.
- Use headings and lists only when they improve navigation.
- Avoid previewing, explaining, and then summarizing every point.
- End with the needed decision, image, implication, or next action rather than a generic conclusion.

## Voice

- Make the writer's stance, priorities, and relationship to the reader visible.
- Prefer vocabulary the stated writer would plausibly use.
- Preserve deliberate roughness or brevity in personal messages.
- Do not turn business writing into forced friendliness or social writing into brand copy.

## Final checks

Verify meaning, factual preservation, specificity, rhythm, social fit, consistency, and absence of invented lived experience. Compare against the source and list any substantive change that could alter interpretation.
