# Editorial integrity for generated news visuals

## Verification

- Prefer primary sources: GCC government bodies, regulators, exchanges, listed companies, courts, emergency services, official statistics offices, and direct statements.
- Verify current claims at production time. Record the source and UTC verification time.
- Distinguish announcement date, event date, and publication date.
- Do not convert allegations, forecasts, rumors, or early reports into definitive visual claims.
- For conflicting accounts, pause the definitive card and clearly describe what remains unresolved.

## Generated-image disclosure

- Credit synthetic scenes as `AI illustration`.
- Do not caption an AI illustration as a photograph.
- Do not fabricate documentary evidence, injuries, destruction, crowds, arrests, military action, weather damage, or official ceremonies.
- Avoid photorealistic reconstructions of unfolding tragedies or violence. Use restrained symbolic or map-based visuals.

## People and institutions

- Never imply endorsement by a public figure, government, company, or institution.
- Do not create fake quotations or put unverified words beside a real person's likeness.
- Use official logos, seals, flags, currency, maps, uniforms, and documents only when accurate, relevant, and permitted.
- Avoid generating recognizable private individuals.

## Rights and attribution

- Do not remove watermarks or conceal ownership.
- Do not reproduce a copyrighted reference image or competitor template. Use references only for broad direction.
- Record the origin and reuse status of every source image.
- If rights are unclear, use an original GulfPulse graphic or AI illustration and disclose it.

## Human review gate

Seenu must approve final assets and claims. The image workflow ends at a review-ready package; publishing, scheduling, emailing, and account actions require a separate explicit instruction.
