## Beats

One row per continuous action or speech, in script order; `continues` marks a beat that
carries straight on from the one before. `who` names the characters in frame;
`speaks` is the line (or "—"); `speech s` is the spoken length: the speech result's `duration_seconds` once `wait_task` reports it,
until then an estimate (about 2.5 words per second in Hindi, 2.8 in English, plus one second of
headroom; "—" for a silent beat), kept as
is because the lipsync's `audio_duration` needs the real length; `seconds` is the clip length
to ask for: `speech s` rounded up to whole seconds (for a silent beat, the action's own running
time, 5 by default), and
always inside the video model's range (4–30 s on the default) and never above 15 s on a
route-B beat (the lipsync's cap); `length` is the beat's length
on the timeline: `seconds`, or `speech s` rounded up when the beat went route B and
`speech s` is longer (the lipsync extends the clip to the speech). The mix pass pads (`tpad`/`apad`)
and then trims (`-t`) every beat to `length`, so the file is this long to the frame; cues and
the concat are timed from `length` — the padded beat, not any one file, and
`read_project` reports `seconds` only once the app has placed and saved an item, so this
column is the working record and the mix pass makes it true.
