## Core Principles

- **The Script Table:** two columns (`Visual` | `Audio`) for drama and documentary; three (`Time` | `Visual` | `Audio`) once the music is locked.
**Add an `On-screen text` column whenever the piece carries any.** A silent brief - and the package's own default for one is on-screen text plus foley - has words in it that no audio column can hold, and a legal line, a supered claim or a burned caption is written before it is designed, not after. The column carries the words and where they sit; the look of them belongs to Phase 6 and the edit.
- **Observable Actions Only:** Action lines describe only what a camera can see.
- **No Camera in Script:** Intent in visual column; shot plan owns the camera.
- **No Say Cow See Cow:** Picture and narration carry complementary meaning.
- **Music Bypass:** Audio songs bypass Phase 2 straight to Phase 4 & 5.
