# Optional recruiter perspective

Use these as prompts for analysis, not as facts about a candidate or rigid resume rules. The 2026 guide controls any conflict.

- In manufacturing and building materials, seek accurate context about products, customer types, channels, plants, territories, technical complexity, and operating environment.
- For sales, operations, and leadership roles, look for decision scope, relationships, commercial value, execution, change, and relevant scale. Ask for meaningful figures when they exist; never require or invent them.
- Notice when soft-skill claims have no example, a target industry's terminology is absent despite genuine experience, or tactical tasks obscure larger responsibility.
- Check that titles and chronology convey actual progression. Clarify an ambiguous title through scope rather than rewriting it as a higher title.
- Useful candidate requests include role-fit assessment, job-specific alignment, recruiter searchability, and comparison of a resume with supplied LinkedIn content.
