It can give a whole-household overview (item counts, total estimated value, the rooms and categories with the most items), count items by room, category or brand, or add new items to a household.\n\nIntended users: people who keep their household inventory in the ecohome app (iOS and Android) and want to look things up, or add new items, in ChatGPT.\n\nWhen you connect, you sign in with your ecohome account and approve the connection on a consent page that names ChatGPT, shows all your households and lists exactly what is shared. ChatGPT can read item names, brands, categories, quantities, locations, descriptions and estimated values in all your households, including items other household members added, and can add new items to them when you ask.\n\nLimitations: it can only add new items; it cannot change or delete existing ones. It cannot see receipts, emails, payment details, photos or documents. You need an ecohome account that is set up in the app, with at least one household. A connection lasts up to 90 days and ends after 30 days without use. You get an email each time an assistant is connected, and again when it can see a household you create or join later.
