Use when the user wants to generate, refine, structure, or save a central plot, act structure, promise, pressure, reversals, turns, reveals, or payoffs into plot/ as Markdown with YAML frontmatter.\n---\n\n# Create Plot\n\n## Overview\n\nUse this skill to turn a rough plot prompt into a complete `plot/*.md` source file.\n\nAlways follow `AGENTS.md` and `plot/_template.md`. Generate a workable plot skeleton from the user's prompt, ask for missing information and desired direction, revise through feedback, then write only after confirmation.\n\nBefore running a bundled command, resolve `<skill-dir>` to the absolute directory\ncontaining this `SKILL.md`. This keeps the same skill usable from either the\nrepository-local skill tree or the Novelist plugin.\n\n## Workflow\n\n### 1. Read Context\n\nRead:\n\n- `AGENTS.md`\n- `project.md`\n- `plot/_template.md`\n- `plot/000.master-plot.md`\n- Existing files in `plot/`\n- Relevant `outlines/`, `world/`, `characters/`, `materials/`, and `macguffins/` files if referenced\n\n### 2. Generate A Plot Draft\n\nFrom the user's prompt, infer a compact first-pass plot in Korean. Include:\n\n- story promise\n- protagonist pressure and opposition\n- inciting incident\n- core conflict\n- act or sequence shape\n- midpoint reversal\n- lowest point\n- climax choice\n- resolution shape\n- setups, reveals, and payoffs\n- open questions and missing decisions\n\nMark inferred items clearly. Do not lock major canon facts without user confirmation.\n\n### 3. Ask For Direction\n\nAsk the user what to strengthen, remove, or decide. Focus on plot decisions with real consequences:\n\n- emotional ending vs ironic ending\n- external conflict vs internal conflict\n- mystery-first, thriller-first, romance-first, or literary-first structure\n- single protagonist vs ensemble pressure\n- reveal timing and whether the reader knows more than the characters\n\nContinue the feedback loop until the user says it is enough or gives enough detail to save.\n\n### 4. Build The Plot File\n\nUse a filesystem-safe ASCII slug. Save to `plot/<slug>.md`; `id` must be `plot-<slug>`.\n\nRequired frontmatter:\n\n```yaml\nid: plot-ascii-slug\ntype: plot\ntitle: \"\"\nscope: novel\nstatus: seed\nstarts_in: \"\"\nturns_in: []\npays_off_in: \"\"\ncharacters: []\nmaterials: []\nmacguffins: []\ncreated: YYYY-MM-DD\nupdated: YYYY-MM-DD\ntags: []\n```\n\nUse `scope: novel` for the whole-book plot and `scope: thread` for a subplot or plot thread.\n\nThe Markdown body must include:\n\n- `# <title>`\n- `## Promise`\n- `## Pressure`\n- `## Turns`\n\n### 5. Write And Verify\n\nPrefer the bundled script:\n\n```bash\npython3 \"<skill-dir>/scripts/write_plot.py\" --input /path/to/plot.json --project-root .\n```\n\nUse a temporary JSON file with final confirmed data. The script writes `plot/<slug>.md`, refuses invalid slugs, and refuses to overwrite existing files unless `--force` is passed.\n\nAfter writing, verify frontmatter delimiters, `type: plot`, matching `id`, and `git status --short`. Do not commit unless the user asks.\n"},"changes":[],"summary":"First saved snapshot. No earlier version is available for comparison.","summary_kind":"deterministic","summary_metadata":{}}
