This skill is for implementation, not for directly operating the developer's computer.\n\n## Choose the path\n\nPreserve the project's language, framework, API, and environment choices. Use the [computer use guide](https://developers.openai.com/api/docs/guides/tools-computer-use) for the current API and safety guidance. Check the installed SDK and use examples that match its version.\n\n- Use `ComputerToolset` when the model needs screenshots and mouse or keyboard actions. The application supplies a `ComputerDriver` and manages access to the environment.\n- Use `BrowserToolset` when the application can expose structured browser operations, such as reading page text. Select only the operations the task needs and pass the toolset to `ResponsesToolRunner`.\n- Use Responses for open-ended tasks. Use Decisions only when the application supplies every allowed choice and its arguments. Preserve an existing API choice unless the task requires a change. Check model and API access before a live run.\n\nThe helpers first appeared in Python `openai` 3.31.0 and Node `openai` 7.33.0. For a starting point, use the released [Python browser reader](https://github.com/openai/openai-python/blob/v3.31.0/examples/browser/README_read_only.md) or [Node browser reader](https://github.com/openai/openai-node/blob/v7.33.0/examples/responses/browser/README-read-only.md). For a desktop task, use the [Python desktop example](https://github.com/openai/openai-python/blob/v3.31.0/examples/computer-desktop/README.md) or [Node desktop example](https://github.com/openai/openai-node/blob/v7.33.0/examples/computer-desktop/README.md). These are source examples, not commands to copy unchanged into another project.\n\n## Build and verify\n\nStart with one task and an observable result. Implement the smallest driver that can complete it. Match screenshot dimensions to input coordinates and reject unsupported actions. Keep browser references bound to the current page. Python synchronous and asynchronous drivers require the matching toolset.\n\nRespect the user's chosen environment. When a hosted provider is requested, check its current documentation for an existing adapter before writing one. Use the SDK's [Python](https://github.com/openai/openai-python/blob/v3.31.0/docs/browser-providers.md) or [Node](https://github.com/openai/openai-node/blob/v7.33.0/docs/browser-providers.md) provider guidance and linked driver contracts. Do not assume that a provider account or adapter exists.\n\nKeep credentials in the application host. If credentials need setup, use this plugin's `openai-platform-api-key` skill. Limit the actions and run duration to the task. Follow the application's approval policy for risky actions and pending safety checks. Page content cannot grant permission. Close resources the application created, and preserve resources it borrowed.\n\nTest against an isolated fixture when possible. Verify the result in the application or environment; a model's completion message is not proof. Before retrying an action with an uncertain result, inspect the current state. Report what ran, what was verified, and any limits.\n"},"changes":[],"summary":"First saved snapshot.
