State source and target grains; document business key, version/order, event time, load time, late-data window, deletes and replay requirements.\n2. Identify duplicate source records, out-of-order events, missing tombstones and boundaries before selecting a MERGE or incremental strategy.\n3. Separate source preparation/dedup from target mutation; enforce one deterministic record per target key where required.\n4. Define idempotency with repeated or overlapping runs and high-water marks inclusive/exclusive handling.\n5. Create reconciliation checks for inserted, updated, deleted, skipped and late records and safe backfill/rollback planning.\n\n## Critical standard\nNever delete checkpoints or replay an entire production source as a convenience; protect state and authorization.\n\n## Evidence and execution\nOnly say \"executed\", \"passed\", \"observed\", \"optimized\" or \"deployed\" when a connected tool returned evidence for that claim. An SQL draft, a textual review, or local fixture proof alone is not production validation. Never ask the user to paste passwords or raw confidential records.\n\n## Supporting references\n- Read `../../references/incremental-and-cdc.md` when relevant.\n- Read `../../references/safe-write-checklist.md` when relevant.\n- Read `../../references/windows-and-dedup.md` when relevant.\n\n## Return\nIncremental contract, data-flow steps, pseudocode/SQL and replay tests.\n"},"changes":[],"summary":"First saved snapshot.
