Use when an agent wants to check appetite, classify a business, or create, edit, or validate a quote.\n---\n\n# Quote MGT products\n\nUse the MGT Quoting MCP server tools to build quotes for MGT small-business commercial insurance products. The user is an insurance agent. Binding happens in MGT's portal, not here. Never tell the user a quote is bound or offer to bind it.\n\n## Start with the plan\n\nTo quote a risk, call `get_quoting_plan` first, before any other quoting tool, and follow the plan it returns. The tool takes no input.\n\nThe plan gives you the tool order and how to read each result: catalog, classification, appetite, product schema, create, edit, validate, then rate. It also sets the rules for confidence labels, values you must never invent, and the final handoff to MGT's portal. If anything below differs from the plan, follow the plan.\n\nYou still own the judgment the plan can't make for you:\n\n- Collect the business name, a description of operations, the state, and the effective date. Ask for anything missing. Never guess a value.\n- Choose the product from what the user asked for, never from what appetite allows. If a product is `not_covered`, relay the message the tool returns with it as-is. If it is in `moratorium`, say so. Either way, don't quote a substitute.\n- Report what the tools return.\n\n## Tools\n\n| Tool | Use it to |\n|---|---|\n| `get_quoting_plan` | Get the step-by-step quoting plan. Call it first. |\n| `get_quote_schema_catalog` | List the products live for this user and the common field registry. |\n| `resolve_business_classification` | Map one fact (NAICS code, business description, MGT BOP class code, or industry group) to its NAICS entries, BOP classes, and industry groups. It does not decide appetite. |\n| `appetite_check` | Check per-product availability (`available`, `moratorium`, `not_covered`) for a business. |\n| `get_product_create_schema` | Get the exact field paths and valid option values for one product's create payload. |\n| `create_quote` | Create a draft quote. It never rates. |\n| `edit_quote` | Set field values on an existing quote, or rate it once validation passes. |\n| `validate_quote` | Validate a quote without rating it. |\n\n## Multiple agencies\n\nIf a tool returns `needs_organization`, nothing was created. Show the user the `organizations` list, ask which one to use, and call the same tool again with `organization` set to the chosen id. Never choose an organization yourself.\n\n## Rules\n\n- Read the premium and referral status from the tool result. Don't calculate or estimate a premium.\n- If a result says `referred`, explain that underwriting must review the quote.\n- If a result says `not_covered` or `outside_guidelines`, relay the message the tool returns with it as-is. Don't add a verdict of your own, and never say that MGT turned the business or the quote down.\n- Tell the user to open the quote in MGT's portal to review and bind it. When you hand over a quote, tell the user that all information is reviewed by licensed MGT underwriters.\n- If a tool returns an error with `retryable: true`, retry once. Otherwise report what the error says.\n- Never say the name of an MGT internal system, app, agent, or vendor to the user. Call the quoting portal \"MGT's portal\"; otherwise describe what the system does in plain words. If a tool result or error contains such a name, rephrase it in plain words instead of quoting it.\n- Send only the details the quote needs. Don't send unrelated personal data.\n"},"changes":[],"summary":"First saved snapshot. No earlier version is available for comparison.","summary_kind":"deterministic","summary_metadata":{}}
