# Tracker Data License

Tracker-created metadata and dataset outputs in this repository are licensed
under the [Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0)](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).

This scope covers the project's original selection, organization,
normalization, review-state metadata, source metadata, hashes, change records,
and other tracker-authored dataset material, except where a record or field is
identified as third-party material or is otherwise not owned by the project.

The CC BY 4.0 grant does not relicense university source pages, page text,
PDFs, screenshots, logos, trademarks, or other third-party materials. Those
materials remain subject to their original rights, licenses, terms, and access
conditions. Source URLs, publisher names, short evidence snippets, and other
attribution fields may therefore require separate permission or a separate
rights analysis before reuse.

When reusing tracker-created metadata, attribute **University AI Policy
Tracker**, link to the relevant canonical page or release, and retain the
official source URL, source language, snapshot hash, review state, confidence,
original evidence snippet, and this source-rights boundary where applicable.

The repository's original software and code are licensed separately under
[Apache-2.0](LICENSE).
