Signing in alone does not connect your chats, and older messages do not appear automatically.\n\nImporting older history is optional. You can do it later from a computer while continuing to use Telepath with new messages. Send /import to @lemma_telepath_bot for an upload link, then upload a JSON export from Telegram Desktop. Export one chat or several, without media. Imported history includes text and message details; media files from the export are not uploaded.\n\nGroups, channels, and permissions\n\nAdd the bot to a group to archive new messages it has permission to receive. Replies in groups are sent under the bot\u2019s name. Connect channels through the bot; channel actions require the appropriate ownership and bot permissions.\n\nTelepath uses Telegram\u2019s official Business API for private chats. You choose which chats it can access and whether it may send messages. Sending and editing in private Business chats requires the appropriate permissions and an incoming message in that chat within the previous 24 hours. Results cover the available archive, not every conversation or message in Telegram.\n\nManage Notes and tasks in ChatGPT or the Telepath Notes Mini App. Use @lemma_telepath_bot for connection settings and imports.
