Recipe Sender for Thermomix®
ChatGPT recipes to Cookidoo®
Ask ChatGPT for a recipe for your Thermomix® and get a Cookidoo® link you can save to your own account, with the guided cooking steps already set.

How it works: ask for a dish, or paste a recipe of your own. ChatGPT writes it in Thermomix style and shows it as a card with the ingredients, the steps, and each machine setting highlighted: time, speed, temperature, reverse, and the dough, turbo, browning and steaming modes. An ingredient named in a step is highlighted too, with its amount next to it. The card speaks the language of your conversation: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Polish or Portuguese. Check the recipe and ask for any change.

The card says which country's Cookidoo site the recipe will be sent to. That country comes from the approximate location ChatGPT shares with the plugin, so you are not asked for it. If your Cookidoo account is registered in a different country, tell ChatGPT before sending. ChatGPT asks for the country only when it has no location to go by.

When you say yes, or press Send to Cookidoo on the card, the recipe is created on the Cookidoo site of that country and the card shows the link. Open the link while signed into Cookidoo, choose Add to Created recipes, and it is in your account ready for guided cooking: each step with its time, speed, temperature and mode, the ingredients linked to their steps with their amounts, and a cover photo.

You never give us your Cookidoo or Vorwerk login. The recipe is created under the plugin's own Cookidoo account and shared by link.

Who it is for: Thermomix owners with a Cookidoo account who want to cook ChatGPT's ideas, family recipes, or leftovers recipes with guided settings instead of typing them in by hand.

Limitations: sending works for Cookidoo accounts registered in the United States (cookidoo.thermomix.com) and in the countries of Cookidoo's international site (cookidoo.international). The current list is at https://cook.bygmv.com/terms. For any other country the card shows the recipe without a Send button and says that sending is not available there yet. A link only opens for accounts on the same Cookidoo country site, so check the country on the card before you send. The country is read from ChatGPT's approximate location, can be wrong when you travel, and is not stored. Machine temperatures show in °F for accounts registered in the United States and in °C everywhere else. You need your own Cookidoo account to open and save a recipe. A sent recipe is public: anyone who has the link can open it, Cookidoo shows it as shared by the community, and you cannot edit or remove the shared original, only your saved copy. Do not put personal information in a recipe. Send only recipes ChatGPT wrote or your own, not recipes copied from websites, books, or Cookidoo. A recipe holds up to 40 ingredients and 30 steps. The plugin limits how many recipes it sends per minute and per day, so a send can ask you to wait. Settings are written by ChatGPT and can contain mistakes: check times, speeds and temperatures before you cook. On the Thermomix a saved recipe runs one screen per step, with the settings loaded on the dial and the ingredients of that step listed at the scale. It does not get the separate screen per ingredient that official Cookidoo recipes have. The cover photo is generated by AI from a short English description of the finished dish, or else from the recipe name and its main ingredients, which are sent to an image generation provider named on the privacy page, so it is an illustration and may not match the dish exactly. If the photo cannot be generated, the recipe is sent without one. There are no accounts and no history. The plugin keeps no recipe and no photo on its own server.

Unofficial: not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Vorwerk. Thermomix® and Cookidoo® are trademarks of Vorwerk.",

For a reviewer in the United States that line is: Will be sent to Cookidoo United States (cookidoo.thermomix.com). Not your Cookidoo country? Tell ChatGPT before sending. ChatGPT replies in one or two short sentences and asks whether to send the recipe to Cookidoo, naming that country. It does not ask which country the Cookidoo account is registered in, and it sends nothing."

Pressing Send to Cookidoo writes a message into the chat as the user that names the recipe and the country, for example: Yes, send "Pizza Dough" to Cookidoo. My Cookidoo account is registered in United States (US). That message is the confirmation, so ChatGPT sends the recipe without asking again. ChatGPT may first show its own prompt to allow the action: allow it. A card then shows On Cookidoo and the heading Your recipe is on Cookidoo, with an Open in Cookidoo button, the link with a Copy button, a note to open it while signed into Cookidoo and choose Add to Created recipes, and the line The recipe is public: anyone with the link can open it. The recipe itself is folded under Show recipe. The link is on the Cookidoo site of the country shown on the card. For the United States it starts with https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/created-recipes/public/recipes/en-US/. ChatGPT replies in one or two short sentences. Opening the link in a browser signed into a Cookidoo account of that country shows the recipe with Add to Created recipes, its ingredients with amounts, guided settings on its steps, and an AI-generated cover photo. If the photo could not be generated, the recipe is there without a photo. The link does not open for an account on another Cookidoo country site."

ChatGPT says the same in a short reply and sends nothing. Then type in the same chat: Sorry, my Cookidoo account is registered in Chile. A new Preview card for the same recipe shows the Send to Cookidoo button and the line: Will be sent to Cookidoo Chile (cookidoo.international). Not your Cookidoo country? Tell ChatGPT before sending.
