  "description": "Compare US employer health plan costs from the plan terms you supply: annual premiums from your paycheck deduction and paycheck count, hypothetical covered in-network cost-sharing at stated spending levels, employer HSA effects, the premium-plus-cap exposure, and the spending level where two plans cost the same. "displayName": "Tobie Benefits Compare",
        "shortDescription": "Compare health plan costs",
        "longDescription": "Tobie Benefits Compare works out what each employer health plan costs you in a year from the plan terms you give it: annual premiums from your per-paycheck deduction and the number of paychecks, your cost-sharing at spending levels you choose (deductible, then coinsurance, up to the out-of-pocket maximum), the effect of an employer HSA contribution, the covered in-network ceiling, and the spending level where two plans cost the same. Family scenarios can use embedded or aggregate deductibles.\n\nIt is a calculator, not advice. Every figure is deterministic and exact to the cent, comes with the formulas and assumptions behind it, and names any term you did not give rather than guessing. A lower number is never a recommendation: it does not decide what a plan covers, whether a provider is in network, or whether you are eligible, and it does not enroll you in anything.\n\nAnonymous by design: no account, no sign-in, no upload. It accepts only numbers and fixed choices, never free text, documents, medical history or contact details, and keeps nothing: no inputs, no results, no cookie. A short technical log per request holds no amounts and no IP address. Nothing is reported to an employer. It has no connection to your employer\u2019s benefits in this release.\n\nHow it calculates, a worked example and ten questions answered: https://plugins.tobie.team/benefits-compare",
