"longDescription": "Car Rental Brain measures what hiring a car really costs at more than 120 airports in Europe, the UK and the US, by running the same searches again and again and publishing the medians, each with its date.\n\nAsk about an airport, a country or a month and it answers with:\n- the price per day for the car alone, with a second driver, with full cover, with no deposit and for an automatic - each priced on a real offer, never the cheapest parts of different cars;\n- second-driver fees and how many suppliers charge them;\n- the deposit held at the desk, and which desks take a debit card;\n- desk closing times and out-of-hours pick-up fees;\n- each supplier's price, driver fee, deposit and desk review scores.\n\nIt can also build a search link with the traveller's dates, drivers and card type already filled in; the link opens live prices on carrentalbrain.com, ranked by the total actually paid, where the traveller books with DiscoverCars.\n\nThe figures are measured aggregates, not live quotes - every answer says how many searches it rests on and when they ran. Read-only, no account, nothing personal requested. Car Rental Brain earns a commission if a booking is made through its links; the traveller pays the same price.\n\nLimitations: measured aggregates for the airports listed by list_airports, not live availability; prices mostly in EUR.",
