# Frontpage for ChatGPT and Codex

Use your existing Frontpage account to inspect and edit eligible website source,
check its exact preview, and use People and email tools with separate consent.
Review and publish through Frontpage. Installing grants no site access.

The package connects to https://app.frontpage.host/api/mcp. It contains one
skill, public metadata and icons. It contains no server, hooks, API keys,
passwords or customer data. The backend remains in Frontpage's private app.

## Connect

For direct Codex setup, add the hosted endpoint with `codex mcp add frontpage
--url https://app.frontpage.host/api/mcp`, then run `codex mcp login frontpage`.
The server accepts the exact published Codex client identity with native
loopback callbacks. A browser completes your existing Frontpage login and
explicit consent. Keep codes and callback URLs private.

For ChatGPT, install the approved plugin when it becomes available or use a
custom MCP connection where your account supports it. This package is under
engineering acceptance; do not interpret package validation as directory
approval or a passed actual-client test.

Choose account coverage or selected sites, and read-only or read/edit source
access. People/email defaults to none and requires separate approval. OpenAI
connections requesting identity permission also share your Frontpage email
and its actual verification status for workspace account restrictions.

Missing entitlement is an access limit; this integration does not start a
purchase, offer upgrades or manage billing. The CLI has a broader command set.

OpenAI exposes each existing People and email action as a separate named tool,
with its input schema available before the call. For example, use
`frontpage_people_groups_create` for a group and `frontpage_save_mail_editor`
for an unsent draft. Source consent alone grants no CRM access. Management
permission can also send email, schedule campaigns, enroll people or activate
rules on your explicit instruction; normal sender, consent, version and
delivery checks still apply. Claude keeps its existing tool names.

Disconnect through Workspace → Developers → Connected Apps. Signing out or
removing a local entry alone does not revoke the connection. A saved source
revision is not a ready preview; verify the exact revision before reporting it.

## Review

The manifest includes five positive and three negative cases. Run them on the
owner-approved arbiter fixture and record actual results before submission.
Supply the dedicated reviewer login and password only through the provider's
private review fields. The recording URL also stays unset until a real,
owner-approved walkthrough exists. Do not put passwords or recordings in this
archive. Use sample records only; do not send, activate, enroll or publish.
