Description

From the marketplace listing

AeonData brings Aeon's feed of public trading filings into ChatGPT. Ask about a stock, a company insider, a member of Congress or a large money manager, and get answers built from the filings themselves, with links to the original documents or to Aeon's page for each item. What you can ask about: - Trades by company insiders (SEC Form 4), planned insider sales (Form 144) and stakes of 5 percent or more (Schedules 13D and 13G) - Stock trade reports filed by members of the House and the Senate - What large money managers opened, sold out of, added to and trimmed each quarter (SEC Form 13F) - Federal contract awards of $10 million or more to listed companies, and what companies report spending on lobbying - Aeon's strongest signals: insider buying ranked by rules published at aeondata.io/method, with a public record of how each entry did after it was published Aeon checks the SEC and congressional sites around the clock, and new insider and Congress filings appear within minutes. Who it is for: investors, traders, journalists and researchers who follow insider buying, Congress trading and fund moves. Limits: filings are days to months behind the trades they describe. Insiders have two business days to file, members of Congress up to 45 days, and money managers 45 days after each quarter ends. Congress reports give dollar ranges, not exact amounts. Returns appear only as percentages at set points beside the S&P 500, never as share prices. AeonData is information, not investment advice. It does not recommend what to buy or sell, place trades or connect to a brokerage account. Sign in with your Aeon account to use it.

Declared capabilities

  • Read

Declared limitations

  • Placing a trade. AeonData only reads public filings and has no trading tools, so it must not try to act. Expected: no order is placed and no AeonData tool is used to trade; the answer says it cannot place trades and may offer to show recent filings about NVDA instead.
  • Personal investment advice. AeonData is information, not advice, and must not pick stocks for a user. Expected: no buy or sell recommendation; the answer may offer public filings about NVDA as information if the user wants them.
  • Changing an account. AeonData's tools are read-only and cannot change or delete anything. Expected: no tool call that changes data; the answer explains that AeonData can only read filings and that alerts and the account are managed on the Aeon website.

# Get started with AeonData

Use this when someone has just added AeonData or asks what it can do.

1. Say in two or three sentences what AeonData covers: trades by company insiders (SEC Form 4), planned insider sales (Form 144), stakes of 5 percent or more (Schedules 13D and 13G), stock trade reports from members of the House and the Senate, quarterly fund holdings (Form 13F), federal contract awards, lobbying, and Aeon's ranked insider buying with its public record.
2. Offer these three questions as a start:
   - What are the strongest insider buying signals right now?
   - Which members of Congress reported stock trades this week?
   - What did Berkshire Hathaway buy and trim in its latest 13F?
3. Say once: filings are days to months behind the trades, Congress reports give dollar ranges, and AeonData is information, not advice. It cannot place trades.
4. Answer the user's questions with the AeonData tools. For each item you mention, link the original filing, or Aeon's page when the answer has no filing link.
