Description

From the marketplace listing

Asklane gives business buyers a direct line to a vendor from their ChatGPT conversation. Participating vendors show a short line on their website with their Asklane code. Paste that line into ChatGPT and Asklane shows the vendor's own inquiry card, filled in from your conversation: your company, what you're looking for, your questions and a short summary of what matters for the vendor. You can change or delete every field. When you press Send in the card, that one vendor gets your inquiry by email and replies to you directly. Before you send, ChatGPT can look up what the vendor has published through Asklane, such as services, pricing notes and what happens after an inquiry. It answers only from that content and tells you when it doesn't cover your question. After you send, the exchange can continue in the chat. The vendor may have a few short follow-up questions, which ChatGPT asks one at a time. You answer or skip each one, and your answers reach the same vendor in the same email thread. Asklane works only with a code from the vendor's own website. There is no vendor list or search, so you can contact only a vendor whose site gave you a code. Nothing goes to the vendor until you press Send. The vendor receives what is in the card and your answers to its questions. Asklane has no access to your chat history.

Release notes

1.0.2, security fix. The one-time link the inquiry card uses to send is no longer in tool output the model can read: prepare_inquiry returns it only in the result _meta, which goes to the card alone, and structuredContent carries a reference instead. A new tool, get_send_token, is visible only to the card (app visibility, hidden from the model) and returns the same link when a host does not pass _meta to the card. Nothing changes for users: they review the card and press Send. Unchanged: vendor profile and questions from the vendor's published information, an editable inquiry card the user sends to one vendor, and the vendor's optional follow-up questions answered in the chat.

Declared in the saved package. Remote tools may change independently.
