BlitzReels

Virgile RIETSCH v3.0.0

BlitzReels helps you turn recordings into short videos. In ChatGPT, you can find existing projects and media, import a video you have permission to use, create captioned clips, edit timelines, generate video assets, and export finished files. Actions use your connected BlitzReels workspace and ask for confirmation before sensitive imports or likeness use.

# Clipping

Create or adjust one clip batch, follow its bounded state, and return verified results.

## 1. Resolve the source

- Use the identified BlitzReels asset ID when the user already chose one.
- For a ChatGPT attachment, call `media_upload_file` and use its returned asset ID.
- For an unidentified workspace file, call `media_list`; ask the user only when several plausible assets remain.
- For a public URL, confirm ownership or permission before creation. Call `media_import_inspect` when support is
uncertain or the user asks for a preview.

Completion: exactly one verified asset ID or supported URL.

## 2. Create or adjust

- New batch: call `clips_create` once with exactly one of `assetId` or `url`.
- Public showcase: set `createSharePage` only when the user asks for one.
- Existing batch: use `clips_manage` to inspect, reselect, repair, caption, or export it.
- Selection: preserve an explicit range; use automatic best selection only when the user delegates the choice.
- Deletion: call `clip_batches_delete` for the identified batch only after the user confirms deletion.

Completion: one valid batch ID whose latest state reflects the requested creation or adjustment.

## 3. Follow the batch

- Read `batch.polling` from each result.
- When `shouldPoll` is true, call `clips_get` after the suggested delay.
- Continue the existing batch until a terminal state or the returned polling limit.

Completion: a terminal result or the latest bounded active state.

## 4. Deliver the result

- Report batch status plus rendered, review, and failed counts.
- List downloadable clips first, each with its verified title and URL.
- Include the studio URL when review or editing remains.
- Surface `lastErrorMessage` and per-clip errors from the latest tool result.
- At the polling limit, return the batch ID and studio URL and state that processing remains active.

Completion: every clip is accounted for with verified status and available links.

# Editing

Preview one bounded project change, apply it once, verify the resulting state, and export when requested.

## 1. Resolve the project

- Use `projects_get` when the user identified a project.
- Otherwise call `projects_list`; ask the user only when several plausible projects remain.
- Call `projects_inspect` when the edit needs detailed timeline or caption context.

Completion: one verified project ID and every ID or time range required by the edit.

## 2. Preview the change

- Prefer `timeline_edit_preview` when it supports the requested mutation.
- Prefer `timeline_edit_apply` or `batch_update_timeline_clips` for coordinated edits.
- For one bounded operation, use the matching focused tool: `update_timeline_clip`, `timeline_media_add`,
  `timeline_audio_add`, `add_text_overlay`, `add_transition`, `mute_clip_audio`, or `delete_timeline_items`.
- Resolve media through `media_list` or `media_assets_get`; call `media_assets_preview` when the choice is uncertain.
- Resolve every item ID, time range, and destructive target from tool state or the user's selection.

Completion: a reviewed preview or an unambiguous mutation plan that accounts for every target.

## 3. Apply and verify

- Apply the approved change once.
- Re-read the project or affected timeline state.
- On a stale ID or conflict, discard the pending edit, refresh context, and resolve the target again.
- After an ambiguous response, inspect current state before deciding whether a retry is needed.
- For partial batch failure, account for every item and retry only verified failures.

Completion: every requested change is proven by follow-up state, with receipts and warnings reported.

## 4. Export

- Call `exports_start` when the user requested export or approves it after previewing the edit.
- Follow that export with `exports_list` until its terminal state.
- Return a download URL only when the tool reports it ready.

Completion: verified project and item IDs, changed state, warnings, export status, and available download URL.

# Generation

Choose one generation branch, confirm material cost or likeness choices, and return verified results.

## 1. Route the request

- Preserve the user's prompt, script, narration, and aspect ratio.
- Call `generation_options_list` when model, duration, voice, style, or aspect ratio remains unresolved.
- Ask one focused question when a missing choice changes the output or cost.
- For a reusable visual system, inspect it with `story_kits_list` and `story_kits_get`.
- For an existing character, inspect it with `characters_list` and `characters_get`; call `characters_apply` after
the user confirms the rights and likeness consent required by the tool.

Completion: one supported branch with every material input resolved.

## 2. Complete-video branch

- Call `generation_plan_brief` to convert the idea or script into a production brief.
- Call `generation_plan_validate`; surface every warning, required choice, and cost before generation.
- Call `generation_faceless_create` once for the approved brief.
- Preserve the returned project, revision, and job IDs.

Completion: one accepted full-video job tied to a verified project and revision.

## 3. Single-asset branch

- Select exactly one matching tool: `generation_image_create`, `generation_video_create`,
  `generation_voiceover_create`, `generation_music_create`, or `generation_sound_create`.
- Generate only the requested asset type with the resolved inputs.

Completion: one accepted asset job with every returned identifier retained.

## 4. Follow and deliver

- Follow an active job with `generation_jobs_get` within its returned polling guidance.
- Call `generation_jobs_cancel` when the user explicitly asks to cancel that job.
- After an ambiguous timeout, inspect the existing job before deciding whether another creation is needed.
- Return verified project, revision, job, and asset IDs; status; warnings; preview or download URLs; and the next
  available action.

Completion: a verified terminal result or the latest explicit active or blocked state.
