From the developer

Declared capabilities

  • Search yacht charter offers by destination and dates
  • Filter by boat type, size, year built, berths, cabins, equipment and skipper
  • Show offers as cards with photos, specs and total price

Cost & access

The plugin does not sell anything or take payments in ChatGPT. Offer links open the public offer page on boatscribe.com, where the user can review the offer and request a booking.

Declared limitations

  • Payment or booking inside ChatGPT is not supported: the plugin must not collect card details or claim to book. Expected: nothing is booked or charged and no payment data is asked for; if offers are shown, booking is left to the offer's page on boatscribe.com.
  • Other people's personal data is not available: the plugin must not reveal customers or bookings. Expected: a refusal that Boatscribe in ChatGPT only searches public charter offers.
  • Out of scope: a hotel or flight request is not a yacht charter. Expected: search_yachts is not called and no Boatscribe cards appear; ChatGPT may answer the hotel request on its own, without Boatscribe.

Description

From the marketplace listing

Boatscribe helps you find yacht and boat charter offers without leaving the conversation. Say where and when you want to sail, and Boatscribe searches its catalogue of charter offers from charter companies and agencies. What you can do: - Search by destination: a country, region, city or marina, named the way you say it. - Search an exact start date, a flexible week, or a whole month. - Filter by boat type (sailing yacht, catamaran, motor yacht, gulet), number of people, cabins, toilets, length, year built, price, equipment, crewed or bareboat, and a skipper. - Compare offers as cards with photos, key specs and the price for the whole boat and the whole stay, in EUR. - When a name fits several places, choose the one you mean on the cards. - When fewer than five offers start on your date, choose to widen the search to one or two weeks either side. - Get results in English, Russian or German. Each offer links to its page on boatscribe.com, where you can review it and request a booking. Boatscribe in ChatGPT does not take bookings or payments and needs no account. Limitations: offers, prices and availability come from charter companies and can change before booking. Only destinations listed on Boatscribe are covered.

# Search yacht charters with Boatscribe

Use the `search_yachts` tool of the Boatscribe MCP server to find charter offers.

## Before searching

- Ask for what the search needs and the user has not said: where (a country, region, city
or marina) and when (a start date, a week, or a month). Do not guess dates.
- Pass the place as the user names it. Boatscribe decides which place a name means.
- Pass the user's language as `locale` (`en`, `ru` or `de`; `en` for any other).
- Map what the user asks for onto the filters: boat type, number of people (berths),
cabins, toilets, length, year built, price, equipment, crewed or bareboat, a skipper.
Leave out filters the user did not ask for.

## After searching

- The offers are shown as Boatscribe cards. Reply with a short summary, not a list that
  repeats the cards.
- If the place name fits several places, the cards let the user choose. Ask which one
they mean; do not pick one yourself.
- The dates the user asked for are the ones searched. When the result has `canWidenDates`
(an exact week with fewer than five offers), ask whether to also look one or two weeks
before and after, and search again with `weeksAround` only after the user agrees. For a
month search, suggest another month or a looser filter instead.
- Prices are in EUR for the whole boat and the whole stay.
- Offers come only from the tool. Do not invent yachts, prices or availability.
- Booking happens on boatscribe.com through each offer's link. Do not take payment
details or personal data in the conversation.
