Build a customer support chatbot for my website
From the marketplace listing
ChatbotGen turns any website into an AI chatbot that answers customer questions 24/7. Paste your site's link and ChatbotGen reads your pages, trains a chatbot on them, and gives you three things: a link to chat with it right away, a one-line snippet to embed it on your website, and a link to keep it in your own ChatbotGen account. Make its answers better without leaving the conversation: - Add another page (pricing, FAQ, services, shipping, returns). - Paste text that is not on your site, like opening hours or a refund policy. - Add exact question-and-answer pairs for things that must be worded a certain way. - Ask how training is going at any time. Good for small businesses, agencies, clinics, real estate, restaurants, ecommerce stores, schools and SaaS teams that want a support or sales assistant on their website. Once kept, the chatbot can also capture leads, hand conversations to your team, and answer on WhatsApp and Telegram from the ChatbotGen dashboard.

--- name: get-started description: Set up ChatbotGen for the first time. Ask for the user's website and build their first AI chatbot from it, then show how to try, embed and keep it. --- # Get started with ChatbotGen Help the user get a working website chatbot in a few minutes. 1. Ask for the public URL of their website (for example `https://example.com`). Do not ask for anything else first. 2. Call `create_chatbot` with that URL. If the user gave a business name, pass it as the name. 3. Tell the user, in plain words: - the chatbot is reading their site now (a few pages, about a minute); - the **chat link** lets them try it right away; - the **embed snippet** is one line to paste before `</body>` on their site; - the **keep link** saves the chatbot to their own ChatbotGen account. Until then it is a demo that answers a limited number of messages and expires after a few days. 4. Offer the next step: "Want me to check if training is done, or add your opening hours, prices or a refund policy?" Rules: - Only use public `http(s)` URLs. If the user gives a local or private address, explain that the chatbot can only read public websites. - Do not invent links. Use only the links the tools return. - Never claim the chatbot can do something the tools did not confirm.
--- name: train-chatbot description: Improve a ChatbotGen chatbot's answers by adding a web page, pasted text (policies, hours, prices) or exact question-and-answer pairs. Use when the user wants the chatbot to know something new or answer a question a specific way. --- # Train a chatbot with more knowledge Pick the right tool for what the user gives you: | The user gives you | Call | |---|---| | A link to another page of their site | `add_knowledge_url` | | Text that is not on a web page (policy, hours, product details) | `add_knowledge_text` | | A question that must get an exact answer (pricing, refunds, guarantees) | `add_qa` | Steps: 1. Use the chatbot from this conversation. If there is none, ask for the website and create one first with `create_chatbot`. 2. Call the tool. Keep the user's wording; do not rewrite policies or prices. 3. Confirm what was added. Training runs in the background; there is no need to call anything else. 4. Offer to check the result with `get_chatbot`. Never say the chatbot was deleted or changed in a way the tools do not support. The tools only add knowledge.
--- name: website-chatbot description: Build an AI chatbot, support bot, FAQ bot or sales assistant for a business website from its URL, and report training status. Use when the user wants a chatbot or live-chat assistant for their site, store, clinic, agency, restaurant, school or SaaS. --- # Build a chatbot for a website Use this when the user asks for a chatbot, AI agent, support bot, FAQ bot, live-chat assistant or lead-capture bot for a website. 1. Get the website URL. If the user describes a business without a URL, ask for it. 2. Call `create_chatbot` with the URL (and the business name if known). 3. Share the chat link, the embed snippet and the keep (claim) link from the result. 4. When the user asks "is it ready?", call `get_chatbot` and report pages read and status. 5. Suggest 2 or 3 concrete improvements, based on what a customer would ask that business: prices, opening hours, shipping and returns, booking steps, service area. Offer to add them with the `train-chatbot` workflow. Keep answers short. Show links as clickable links. Use only links returned by the tools.
1.0.1: first public release. Create a website chatbot from a link, see its training progress in a card, and train it on pages, text and Q&A.
