Description

From the marketplace listing

Chatfuel lets businesses run an AI agent that answers customers in Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, TikTok and web chat. This plugin connects ChatGPT to your Chatfuel account so you can check and adjust that agent in conversation instead of in the dashboard. What you can do: - See your workspaces, bots, connected channels and whether the AI is on for each channel. - Read and update what the AI knows: company info, instructions, FAQ and business hours. - Turn the AI on for chosen channels and change how it replies, hands chats to a person, follows up and collects contacts. - Set up replies to comments on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok posts, for all posts or chosen posts and keywords. - Set up services and specialists for appointment booking and see the appointments customers made. - Read customer chats, take a chat over, send a reply you approve word for word, return the chat to the AI, and move leads between stages. - Get a sign-in link to connect WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or TikTok to the bot. - Find out why the bot is not replying and what to change. - Try a question in a sandbox chat to see how the AI would answer. Who it is for: owners and managers of businesses that already use Chatfuel, and the agencies that run Chatfuel bots for them. Limitations: you need a Chatfuel account with at least one bot. The plugin does not build flows, delete workspaces or bots, or turn off the AI on every channel at once; those stay in the Chatfuel dashboard. On the consent screen you can grant read-only access, and then the plugin cannot change anything. Changes that reach customers or overwrite settings are confirmed with you first.

Competitor profile

From the developer’s listing and package; capabilities are not independently tested. Package observed Nov 2, 2026.

Declared capabilities

  • View bots, channels and AI status
  • Connect channels with a sign-in link
  • Edit the AI knowledge base and FAQ

Declared limitations

  • Turn the AI off everywhere. One action would stop replies to every customer on every channel; the plugin does not offer it.
  • Change data with read-only access. Connect with the Read-only option on the Chatfuel consent screen first; the read-only grant exposes only read tools, so add_faq is not available.
  • Delete a workspace. Deleting workspaces and bots is not part of the plugin.

# Get started with Chatfuel

Use this right after the user connects Chatfuel, or when they say they are new to it.

## Steps

1. Call `get_playbook` with the name `onboarding` and follow it.
2. If that is not available, call `list_bots`. When the user has several bots, ask which one to work on, one question per message.
3. Call `get_bot` for the chosen bot. Tell the user in plain words which channels are connected and whether the AI is on for each one. Do not use field, enum or scope names.
If no channel is connected, offer to connect one: `create_connection_link` gives a sign-in link for WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or TikTok. Give the link only to the user, and check the channel with `get_bot` after they say they are done.
4. Suggest one next step that fits what you found, for example: check why the bot is silent, review what the AI knows about the business, or add an FAQ answer.

## Rules

- Do not change anything during this check. Before any change, describe it and wait for the user's yes.
- If the connection is read-only, say that changes need the user to reconnect with full access.
- Flows are not available here; point the user to the Chatfuel dashboard at https://panel.chatfuel.com for them.
