Description

From the marketplace listing

Email Spam Tester checks an email the way receiving mail servers do, before it goes out to your list. Ask for a test address and send your draft to it from the platform you normally use. Within a minute the card in the chat turns into a report: a score out of 100, SPF, DKIM and DMARC, reverse DNS, TLS, 21 blocklists, links, HTML structure, the Gmail and Yahoo bulk-sender rules, SpamAssassin and Rspamd verdicts and a ClamAV scan. The report ends with a fix plan, and DNS records come ready to paste. ChatGPT can rewrite the draft from there, and you test again with a fresh address. The same send can also show which folder the email lands in at different mailbox providers (inbox, promotions or spam). The provider inboxes are shared test inboxes, so use a message that is not confidential for that part. Some mail comes as a sequence: a welcome series, a weekly newsletter, order emails. For those, open a permanent mailbox for your domain and subscribe it. Every letter it receives gets the full check, and the plugin shows the series with the problems that repeat from one letter to the next. The plugin does not send email for you and cannot see your mailbox or your sending platform. You send the test message yourself, because half of the checks read what your platform adds to it.

Release notes

Version 1.0.1 removes personal identifiers from tool results. The provider inboxes' addresses for the placement test are no longer returned: the result gives the marker, the number of inboxes, the providers and a link to the test page that lists them. Other people's email addresses in reports, series letters and the message view are shown as …@domain, and the message view also hides IP addresses. Our own test addresses, which the user sends to, are unchanged.

Declared in the saved package. Remote tools may change independently.
