Description
From the marketplace listing
Everloot is a reference for World of Warcraft: Forever. Ask about an item, a dungeon boss, a quest, a vendor, a profession or a talent build, and the answer comes with its source.
What you can ask
- Drops and loot: where an item drops, how often players saw it drop, and which bosses each dungeon has in the game files.
- Quests, NPCs and vendors: quest givers, turn-ins and rewards, where an NPC stands, and what a vendor sells and for how much.
- Professions: a leveling path for a profession, and where recipes turn yellow, green and grey.
- Talents and classes: every class's talent trees, a talent share code read back as a build, and which races can play a class, with their racial traits.
- Map: entrances, NPCs, vendors and treasures near a spot, with distances.
- Economy: auction price history and market value for an item on a realm.
- Guilds: find a guild, see guild ladders for a raid or dungeon, and read the boards that a guild's own officers chose to publish.
- Lore: the Warcraft Wiki archive, with attribution, for characters, places and history.
- News: Blizzard's recent posts and game builds, with links to the originals.
Where the data comes from
Every fact says which of three sources it comes from. Game-file facts name their build and are marked unconfirmed. Player-observed facts come from players who run the Everloot addon: a fact is published only after three separate installs agree, and the answer gives the count and the date. Lore comes from the Warcraft Wiki archive under CC BY-SA 4.0 and may differ from what is in Forever. Nothing is scraped from other sites.
Limits
When something has not been recorded, Everloot says so instead of guessing, and unrecorded is never shown as zero. Player-observed coverage grows as people play, so new content can be thin at first. Everloot is read-only: it cannot play the game, buy items or change a game account. No account or API key is needed, and the public server has rate limits.
Everloot is an independent fan project by R21 Digital, not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment. Its data is CC BY-SA 4.0 and its code is open source.
