Cost & access

This plugin does not sell products or process payments.

Declared limitations

  • Betting odds. FantasyBot does not provide betting odds or picks. Expected fallback: say FantasyBot covers fantasy sports, not betting, and offer fantasy help such as start/sit.
  • Making a roster move. FantasyBot reads leagues but cannot make moves. Expected fallback: explain the user makes the add/drop in their league's app; it may offer to check whether the Ravens defense is a good pickup.
  • DFS lineup. FantasyBot does not build daily fantasy (DFS) lineups. Expected fallback: say DFS isn't supported and offer season-long help such as start/sit or player comparisons.

Description

From the marketplace listing

FantasyBot Sports is your AI fantasy sports assistant for fantasy football, basketball, baseball, and hockey. Connect your Sleeper, ESPN, Yahoo, or other supported league and get advice built on your actual roster, or ask about any player with no league needed. Once your league is linked in the FantasyBot app, answers use your real team: start/sit verdicts for every slot in your lineup, waiver pickups actually available in your league with safe drop candidates, your team's grade with positional strengths and weaknesses, your weekly matchup outlook, opponent roster lookups, and where you rank in your league's power rankings. Ask in plain English: - "How's my fantasy football team looking?" (roster grades, matchup previews, league power rankings) - "Who should I pick up off waivers?" (waiver targets with suggested drops) - "Should I start Jefferson or Chase this week?" (start/sit advice with projections and matchups) - "Is this trade fair?" (trade analysis with player values and rest-of-season outlook) - "Top 30 WRs this week" (position rankings for any sport) - "Compare Jokic and Wembanyama" (head-to-head player comparisons) - "How is Shohei Ohtani playing?" (player stats with trends and matchups) No league setup needed to start: player stats with trends and matchup grades, trade analysis with market values for both sides, start/sit calls for any players, trending adds and drops across Sleeper leagues, player trade values, position rankings, and head-to-head comparisons. Every answer is backed by real player stats, projections, injury status, and trend data, shown in interactive cards right in the chat. Supports: Fantasy Football (NFL), Fantasy Basketball (NBA), Fantasy Baseball (MLB), Fantasy Hockey (NHL).

name: fantasy-sports-assistant
description: Answer questions about the user's own fantasy league using their real roster, from Sleeper, ESPN, Yahoo, and other leagues connected in the FantasyBot app. Use when the user asks who to start this week, who to pick up off waivers in their league, how their team grades, whether they'll win their matchup, where they rank in their league, or who owns a player. Also answers player questions for football, basketball, baseball, and hockey with no league needed — start/sit between named players, trade evaluations, stats, rankings, and trade values.

# FantasyBot Sports

FantasyBot reads the fantasy league the user connected in the FantasyBot app
(Sleeper, ESPN, Yahoo, or other supported platforms) and answers with their
actual roster: who to start, who's available on their waiver wire, how their
team grades, and how their matchup looks. It also answers player questions for
NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL with no league connected.

## The user's own league — start here

When the user says "my team", "my lineup", "my league", "my matchup", or asks
who to start or pick up without naming players, use these tools:

| The user asks | Tool |
|---|---|
| "Who should I start this week?" / "Set my lineup" | `my_start_sit` |
| "Who should I pick up?" / "Who's on my waiver wire?" | `get_waiver_pickups` |
| "Show my team" / "Who's on my roster?" | `get_my_roster` |
| "Grade my team" / "What are my weaknesses?" | `get_my_team` |
| "Will I win this week?" / "Am I favored?" | `get_matchup_outlook` |
| "Where do I rank in my league?" | `get_league_power_rankings` |
| "Who owns Bijan?" / "Show me Mike's roster" | `get_league_team` |
| "Switch my default league" / "I play half PPR" | `my_league_settings` |

**No league connected yet:** these tools return setup steps instead of data.
Pass the steps on as written
and give a player-level answer meanwhile. Never guess at the user's roster.

## Named players — no league needed

| The user asks | Tool |
|---|---|
| "Start Jefferson or Chase?" — specific named players | `start_sit_analysis` |
| "Is this trade fair?" / "Should I trade X for Y?" | `analyze_trade` |
| "How's Jokić doing?" / "Ohtani's stats" | `get_player_stats` |
| "Compare Jefferson and Chase" | `compare_players` |
| "What's X worth in a trade?" / "Is X a buy-low?" | `get_player_value` |
| "Top 30 WRs" / "Best point guards" | `get_position_rankings` |
| "Who's trending?" / "Top adds this week" | `get_trending_players` |

## How to answer

- **Default to NFL** unless the player, position, or context points to another
  sport.
- **Several leagues:** if a tool asks which league, show the user the options it
returns and call it again with `league_name`.
- **Scoring:** if the user states their format ("half PPR", "standard"), offer to
save it with `my_league_settings` so later answers use it. Save only when they
  ask or agree.
- **Cards:** most tools render an interactive card. Lead with the verdict in a
sentence or two and let the card carry the detail. Don't repeat its full table
  in text.
- **Daily limit:** all tools share one daily limit. If a result says it's
reached, tell the user when it resets. Don't retry.

## What FantasyBot does not do

- It reads leagues; it never makes moves. It can't set a lineup, submit a waiver
claim, or propose a trade. Say what to do, and the user makes the move in their
  league's app.
- Linking a league happens in the FantasyBot app, not in this chat.
- No betting odds, sportsbook picks, or DFS lineups.

Release notes

Adds a skill that guides ChatGPT to the right FantasyBot tool for each fantasy question, led by the user's connected league; declares the MCP server in the package; updates the tagline to AI Start/Sit, Waivers & Trades; fills in capability labels, keywords, brand colors, and the icon files the plugin package format requires; makes the listing available in all countries; leads the description with league connection; refreshes the starter prompts with matching screenshots (league waivers, start/sit, trade); and corrects the description: trending adds and drops come from Sleeper leagues.
