Fastio is a workspace and file-storage platform for teams. This app connects a signed-in Fastio account to ChatGPT: browse and search workspaces and files, read file text and metadata, read, create and edit notes, organize folders, upload files, restore earlier file versions, set and clear file metadata, manage branded shares, read, add and edit comments, update workspace settings (including turning Deep Indexing on or off), and manage workspace and share members. Sign-in uses OAuth in the browser; the app acts with the permissions of the signed-in account. No tool accepts a password, API key or verification code, and no tool returns one. Each operation is its own tool (for example `storage_search`, `storage_create_folder`, `share_create`). Read tools only retrieve data. Tools that change data are marked as writes, and tools that delete or overwrite data are marked destructive, so ChatGPT can ask the user before running them. Search finds files by keyword or semantic match within one workspace or share and returns ranked results with short excerpts; a separate tool returns a quoted passage from a specific file. The app does not display plans, start subscriptions or handle payments.

Release notes

Adds seven operations: read, create and update notes (an update can be limited to a known version, so a concurrent edit is not overwritten), update workspace settings including Deep Indexing, restore an earlier version of a file, delete file metadata fields, and edit a comment. Notes can be read in workspaces and shares and created in workspaces. Update Share now accepts the same settings as Create Share. Create Share adds a custom URL name, Add Member adds a notification preference, Create Workspace adds automatic metadata extraction, and Rename File or Folder adds an optional version check. The AI indexing setting is now called Deep Indexing. Errors about organization limits use neutral wording, and results include a short notice during scheduled platform maintenance. The listing description and capabilities are updated to match.
