Cost & access

FormEdge does not sell products or process payments inside ChatGPT, and ChatGPT users are never charged through this app. The app can configure a FormEdge form so that respondents of that form pay through Stripe on the FormEdge-hosted form; the Stripe connection and seller information are managed in the FormEdge dashboard.

Declared limitations

  • Do not trigger for unrelated calendar management. The app should not be invoked because it does not manage calendars or meetings.
  • Do not trigger for travel booking. The app should not be invoked because it does not search for or book flights, hotels or tickets.
  • Do not trigger for generic website source-code generation. The app should not be invoked because local software development is outside its FormEdge workflows.

Onboarding example

Draft an inquiry form with name, email and message fields.

Description

From the marketplace listing

FormEdge is a no-code form and one-page website builder for small businesses. This app lets you use it from ChatGPT. Describe what you need — an inquiry form, a job application, an event sign-up, a landing page for a campaign or a simple homepage — and FormEdge creates it as a draft, gives you a preview link, and publishes it on your own FormEdge URL when you say so. Published forms are protected against spam, and published pages are live on the web with no hosting to set up. What you can do from ChatGPT: - Forms: create forms with text, email, phone, address, date, choice and file upload fields, set required fields, add a completion message and an automatic reply email, control the acceptance period and the number of responses, turn on duplicate-submission checks and AI screening, duplicate an existing form, and publish or unpublish. - Payments: add a payment step to a form so that respondents pay by card through Stripe right after they submit — event fees, trial lessons, booking deposits — with a fixed price per form and an optional quantity. The payment happens on the public FormEdge form, not inside ChatGPT. - Submissions: list and read responses, download them as CSV and check attached files. - Notifications: send new responses to email, Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, LINE or a webhook. - Landing pages and websites: start from templates for events, inquiries and business one-pagers, edit the text and images, place your form on the page, duplicate a page, and publish. Saved versions let you go back to an earlier page. - Workspace: custom domains, the public subdomain, branding, the language and time zone used for emails, members and invitations, and storage usage. Who it is for: shop owners, freelancers, clinics, schools, event organizers and small teams who want a form or a page online today without a web developer. Sign in with your FormEdge account (OAuth 2.1). The permissions ChatGPT gets follow your role in the workspace; if you belong to several workspaces you choose which one to connect. You can narrow the permissions or disconnect at any time from "External app connections" in the account menu of the FormEdge dashboard, and you can also disconnect by asking ChatGPT.

Release notes

This update lets you set up payments and reuse what you already built. You can now add a payment to a form from ChatGPT — the item, the price, the currency and an optional quantity field — and respondents pay by card through Stripe after they submit (connecting a Stripe account and entering the seller information stay in the FormEdge dashboard, and payments run entirely on Stripe, outside ChatGPT). Two new tools, duplicate_form and duplicate_page, copy an existing form or page into a new draft, so "make this year's version of last year's form" takes one step. Forms created from ChatGPT now send new-response notifications to the workspace owner's email by default, so responses are never left unnoticed. Form and submission tools also report payment status and amounts. Notification settings now accept Discord, Microsoft Teams and Google Chat webhooks in addition to email, Slack, LINE and generic webhooks. update_form can also turn on duplicate-response checking for a form (choosing which fields to compare and whether all or any of them must match) and set the AI screening criteria, so the form's protection against duplicate and unwanted responses can be configured without leaving ChatGPT. A new revoke_connection tool lets you disconnect from ChatGPT so you can approve the connection again for a different workspace or with different permissions. This version provides 54 tools. Tool annotations were reviewed against the current plugin guidelines: publish_form, update_page_version, sync_custom_domain and invite_member are now marked destructive, because they overwrite a state or send something that cannot be recalled. The listing name, subtitle and description were rewritten to describe the app plainly and without any pricing or plan information. FormEdge is a no-code form and one-page website builder for small businesses: create and publish forms, read and export submissions, set notifications, build landing pages and simple websites from templates, and manage custom domains, branding and workspace settings. Authentication uses OAuth 2.1. This submission does not include bundled Skills or a custom ChatGPT UI.
