Description

Eat apples, grow longer and keep clear of your own tail. Greedy Worm is a compact arcade game with smooth movement and paired edge portals. Each apple adds one to your score and sends a growth bulge through your worm. The pace gradually increases as you collect more apples, up to a fixed maximum. Play with WASD or arrow keys on desktop and touch arrows on phones and tablets. Choose your accent colour, grid and sound options in Settings. Open Scores for Today and All-Time rankings, Top 100 and your personal best. Ranked results are accepted after the server replays a legal completed run. This verifies game validity, not human authorship. Practice play remains available if a ranked ticket is unavailable when you start. Your own leaderboard row says You. Other players appear under fixed server-generated aliases such as PortalWorm482719036. Names cannot be edited. Your browser stores a private identity for your scores; existing identities, scores and personal bests are retained. Clearing storage or changing device, browser or website origin can create a new player. Generated aliases and leaderboard results are public; see the privacy policy for details.

Version 1.0.3 replaces editable player names with fixed server-generated aliases in the form PortalWorm followed by nine digits. Your own leaderboard row says You; other players keep a stable generated alias. Name entry, rename prompts and cooldown messages have been removed. Existing player identities, scores and personal bests are retained. Keyboard and touch controls, paired portals and replay verification remain supported.
