name: havi-business-update
description: Builds a business presentation that leads with the conclusion — quarterly or annual business reviews, monthly or weekly status updates, board and leadership updates, project reports, sales proposals and client presentations — with key metrics, wins, risks and next steps. Use when the user asks for slides for a QBR, status report, board meeting, leadership update, project review, proposal or client meeting.
---
# Business updates, reviews and proposals
## Pick the shape
- **Review or status update** (QBR, monthly, board, project): summary first →
key metrics → wins → misses and risks → decisions needed → next steps.
- **Proposal or client deck**: client's situation → objectives → proposed approach →
timeline → team → pricing or investment → next steps.
## Never invent figures
Use only numbers the user gave. Otherwise use placeholders like "[Q3 revenue]" and list
which slides need data.
## Building the call
- `topic`: start with "Report on" for reviews, then the meeting, the period or client, the user's facts, and the chosen shape as
a numbered list.
- `num_slides`: user's number, else 8 for a review and 10 for a proposal (max 30).
- `tone`: `professional`. `audience`: who the meeting is with, as custom text
("board of directors", "client leadership").
- `text_content`: `concise`.
## After creating
Offer to put the summary on slide 1 in one sentence, or to add speaker notes
(both through `edit_presentation`).

name: havi-create-presentation
description: Creates a complete, designed slide presentation (a PowerPoint/PPT-style deck) from a topic, a short brief, or an outline, with layouts, images and a theme, shown and editable in chat and exportable to PPTX or PDF from the viewer. Use when the user asks for a presentation, slides, a slide deck, a PPT or PowerPoint, a Keynote or Google Slides-style deck, a slideshow, or "slides for" a class, meeting, talk, pitch or report. Up to 30 slides per deck. Does not read uploaded files.

# Create a presentation with Havi
Use `create_presentation`. For lessons, quizzes, pitches, business updates or training
decks, follow the matching Havi skill instead (havi-lesson-deck, havi-quiz-deck,
havi-pitch-deck, havi-business-update, havi-training-deck); they build a better structure.
## Before calling
- If the request is only a bare topic, create straight away. Do not interview the user.
- Ask one short question only when the purpose is truly unclear and it changes the deck
(for example "slides on climate change": a class or a work meeting?).
## Building the call
- `topic`: the subject plus, when known, purpose and audience in one
sentence. Lead with the format when there is one — "How to…", "X vs Y", "History of…",
"Top 10…", "Case study of…", "Report on…" — Havi shapes the whole deck around it. If the user gave an outline or notes, include them in the topic.
- `num_slides` (1–30): use the user's number. If none is given, leave the default. If the
user asks for more than 30, make 30 and say so.
- Set `tone`, `audience`, `language`, `text_content`, `image_style` only when the user
states them or names who the deck is for.
## After creating
- Point the user to the deck card: they can page through, edit, present, and export PPTX
or PDF there.
- Offer one relevant next step (for example "add speaker notes" or "make it shorter").
Make edits with `edit_presentation`.
## Limits to state honestly
- Uploaded files (PDF, Word, PPTX) are not read. Ask the user to paste the text or key
points instead, and pass them in the topic.

name: havi-lesson-deck
description: Builds a classroom presentation with a teaching structure — learning objectives, a hook, core concepts, a worked example, an activity, a check for understanding and a recap — pitched at the right grade level. Use when a teacher, tutor or student asks for slides for a lesson, lecture, class, unit, lesson plan, homework explainer, or a school or college project presentation.
---
# Lesson and school presentations
## Pick the variant
- **Teaching deck** (teacher or tutor): use the structure below.
- **Student presentation** (school or college project, report, book review): intro →
background → main points (2–4 slides) → findings or opinion → conclusion → sources slide.
## Teaching structure (default 8 slides; scale to the user's number, max 30)
1. Title and learning objectives (2–3, "Students will be able to…")
2. Hook: a question, surprising fact or scenario
3–5. Core concepts, one idea per slide
6. Worked example
7. Activity or discussion prompt
8. Check for understanding (3 quick questions, answers revealed on click) and recap
## Building the call
- `topic`: subject, grade or level, and the structure above as a compact numbered list.
- `audience`: map grade to `high_schoolers` or `college_students`. For younger grades,
use custom text such as "grade 5 students".
- `tone`: `academic` for college; for younger students `conversational`, unless the user
says otherwise.
- `text_content`: `concise` unless the user wants handout-style detail (`detailed`).
## After creating
- Offer speaker notes for the teacher: call `edit_presentation` with
"add speaker notes to every slide with what to say and timing".
- For an end-of-lesson quiz, build a separate quiz deck with havi-quiz-deck.
- There is no worksheet or handout export — do not promise one.

name: havi-pitch-deck
description: Builds a startup or investor pitch deck in the order investors expect — problem, solution, product, market, business model, traction, competition, team, financials and the ask. Use when the user asks for a pitch deck, investor deck, fundraising deck, seed or Series A deck, demo-day slides, or a startup pitch presentation.
---
# Investor pitch deck
## Before calling
Ask once, in a single message, for what you do not already have: company and one-line
description, stage and amount raising, any real traction numbers. If the user wants to
skip, proceed with what you have.
## Never invent figures
Do not make up revenue, users, growth, market size or valuation. When a number is missing,
leave a clear placeholder such as "[ARR]" and tell the user which slides need numbers.
## Structure (default 12 slides; 10 for a short pitch)
1. Title: company, one-liner
2. Problem
3. Solution
4. Product (how it works)
5. Market size
6. Business model
7. Traction
8. Competition and differentiation
9. Go-to-market
10. Team
11. Financials or use of funds
12. The ask and contact
## Building the call
- `topic`: start with "Pitch for", then company, one-liner, stage, the facts the user gave, and the slide order above.
- `tone`: `professional`. `audience`: "investors".
- `text_content`: `minimal` or `concise` — pitch slides are read in seconds.
## After creating
- Offer a presenter script: `edit_presentation` with "add speaker notes: a 20–30 second
talk track per slide".
- Remind the user to fill in the placeholders.

name: havi-quiz-deck
description: Builds an interactive quiz or trivia presentation — multiple-choice, true/false or click-to-reveal questions, with each answer on the same slide as its question, plus Jeopardy-style games. Use when the user asks for a quiz, a test or review game, trivia, Jeopardy, a knowledge check, an end-of-lesson or end-of-unit quiz, an icebreaker quiz, or "questions about" a topic as slides.
---
# Quiz and trivia decks
When presented, each question is interactive: the audience either picks from the options
or clicks to reveal the answer. Havi builds this when the topic is worded as a quiz.
## Building the call
- Start `topic` with "Quiz on", "Trivia on" or "Jeopardy on" — Havi builds the
question-and-answer slides from that wording. Then add the subject, level, number of
questions and style, for example: "Quiz on the solar system for grade 6: 10 multiple
choice questions."
- Question style: "multiple choice" (2–3 wrong options), "true or false", or
"reveal" (question, then the answer behind a click). Mixed is fine. If the user did
not say, use multiple choice.
- `num_slides` (max 30): the user's number, otherwise roughly one slide per 1–2 questions
plus a title slide. Answers never need their own slides.
- `audience`: who is playing (for example "grade 6 students", "new hires", "team social").
- `tone`: `academic` for classes and exams; `humorous` or `conversational` for icebreakers
and socials, unless the user says otherwise.
## Question quality
- One clear correct answer per question; plausible wrong options.
- Mix easy and hard; keep each question to one line.
- Facts must be accurate — avoid trick questions unless asked.
## After creating
- Offer a host script with the answers in speaker notes (via `edit_presentation`).
- Offer to add more questions.
## Limits
There is no live scoring, timer or audience polling — do not promise them.

name: havi-training-deck
description: Builds step-by-step training and how-to presentations — employee onboarding, process and tool training, workshops, compliance or safety briefings, and internal knowledge-sharing sessions. Use when the user asks for training slides, an onboarding presentation, a workshop deck, a how-to or tutorial presentation, or slides to teach a team a process.
---
# Training and onboarding decks
## Structure (default 9 slides; scale to the user's number, max 30)
1. Title and who this is for
2. What you will learn (3 outcomes)
3. Why it matters
4–7. The process, one step per slide, in order
8. Common mistakes and tips
9. Recap, resources and who to ask
For onboarding, replace the steps with: company and team → tools and access →
first-week plan → key contacts → recap.
## Building the call
- `topic`: start with "How to" for process training, then what is being taught, to whom, the steps the user gave, and the structure
above.
- `tone`: `conversational` unless the user says formal; compliance or safety → `professional`.
- `audience`: custom text, for example "new sales hires" or "warehouse staff".
- `text_content`: `concise`.
## After creating
Offer facilitator speaker notes through `edit_presentation`.
