Heimster

Description

From the marketplace listing

Heimster finds homes in Switzerland – to rent or to buy – and answers the everyday questions about each home: How far is the nearest daycare, school or supermarket on foot? How loud is the street? How much sun does the flat get? How long is the commute by public transport? What you can ask: • Search homes like a person would: "3.5 rooms in Zurich, max. 500 m to a daycare", "quiet and sunny in Bern up to CHF 2,500", "within 20 minutes of ETH by public transport". • Any Swiss address: the building, noise, everyday places within walking distance, and the local prices and rents – even when nothing is listed there. • New builds: available new-build apartments, plus what is under construction in a municipality, straight from the federal building register. • Market figures: rents and prices per m² and vacancy for a municipality or district, and a market range for a specific property. • Act, not just read: send an enquiry to the provider, book a viewing, create a search alert, or – for owners – ask for help selling or letting and follow a property's value every month. Without a Heimster account each action is confirmed by e-mail; signed in with Heimster, it happens directly. Signed-in seekers can apply for rentals with their Heimster profile and see the status of their applications. Data comes from Heimster listings, listings published on Swiss agency websites (facts and link only) and public Swiss sources (federal building register, swisstopo, public transport timetables, noise and solar data). Heimster answers in German, French, Italian and English. Privacy: searches need no account. Personal data is only used for the action you ask for and is never sold.
