Description
From the marketplace listing
Homemove is your UK moving assistant in ChatGPT. Ask anything about moving home, whether you are buying, selling, renting or letting, and Homemove answers with real prices and next steps, shown with the Homies. Prices: ask what a survey or valuation, an EPC, a gas safety or electrical certificate, conveyancing, removals or a man and van, an end of tenancy or moving clean, or packing would cost, and Homemove works it out from its own pricing. Pick your home from the address list and it fills in what it can from the property records, such as bedrooms, the value band and freehold or leasehold, so you answer fewer questions. Your whole move: say whether you are buying, selling, both, renting or letting, and Homemove sets out every step with its quote, plus the stamp duty you would pay to HMRC, shown apart from Homemove's fees. Not sure which survey you need? Homemove explains the difference and quotes the one that fits. Everything around the move: a checklist of what to do and who to tell, dated from your moving day; the broadband available at your new address from homemove.com's broadband comparison, by speed or monthly cost, with a link to each provider (confirm with the provider before ordering; Homemove may earn a commission); the council tax band of a home; mortgage repayment figures; and the way into homemove.com for home insurance, mortgages and choosing an estate agent. When you are ready, the card continues to the right page on homemove.com, where you confirm the details and final price. Limitations: quotes are confirmed when you book on homemove.com. Some combinations, such as very large homes or expert-witness valuations, are quoted by the Homemove team rather than instantly. Homemove does not give mortgage advice, recommend lenders or insurers, or show insurance premiums in ChatGPT; those are handled on homemove.com. Stamp duty covers England and Northern Ireland and mortgage figures are illustrative sums, not advice. Homemove needs no account and takes no payments in ChatGPT.

moving-out-of-a-rental1.54 KB
--- name: moving-out-of-a-rental description: Use when a tenant is moving out of a rented home and asks about an end of tenancy clean, removals or what moving out will cost. --- Use the Homemove plugin's MCP tools directly for quotes and move plans. They require no Homemove login. Discover the connected Homemove tools if they are not immediately listed. Do not open or control the separate Homemove desktop application (`com.homemove.app`), use browser automation to obtain a quote, or ask the user to sign in to Homemove as a substitute for a missing MCP tool. If discovery still does not expose the required tool, clearly report that the plugin's tool connection is unavailable in this chat; do not invent a price or claim that reconnecting succeeded. Open a returned Homemove continuation or booking link only when the user wants to continue with that quote. Price a tenant's move out with Homemove. The user's own instructions come first. 1. Ask for the postcode of the home they are leaving and of the one they are moving to, and how many bedrooms the home they are leaving has (or its address, so the property record can fill it in). 2. Call `homemove_move_plan` with situation `renting`. It quotes the end of tenancy clean and asks what is moving for removals. 3. Ask what they are moving, in their own words, and call `homemove_quote` for removals with `to_postcode` and `items`. Never assume a household of furniture. 4. Give the prices in a sentence each and say they are confirmed when booked on homemove.com. Do not advise on deposit disputes or tenancy law.
plan-my-move2.91 KB
--- name: plan-my-move description: Use when someone is buying, selling, renting or letting a home and asks what moving will cost, what they need to do, or wants a moving checklist or budget. For a moving checklist or who to notify, use `homemove_moving_checklist`, not the pricing plan. Ask only for the situation (buying, selling, buying and selling, renting or landlord) if unknown, and use a moving date if supplied. No address, budget or mortgage details are needed for a checklist. For a council tax band, use `homemove_council_tax` with the postcode and first address line; do not claim it returns a bill or a Homemove service price. For mortgage repayment arithmetic, use `homemove_mortgage_repayments` with price, deposit, interest rate and term; explain that the result is illustrative, not advice or an offer. Do not infer income or report a loan-to-income ratio without the user's income. For insurance, mortgages or estate-agent service access, `homemove_quote` may show the corresponding website handoff; do not quote insurance premiums, recommend a lender or insurer, or complete a purchase. Only use the numbered pricing workflow below when the user asks for a move budget or service prices. Set out the whole move with Homemove's quotes. The user's own instructions come first. 1. Find out what they are doing: buying, selling, both, renting (moving out of a rental) or letting a home out. Ask for the postcode of each home involved, and the first line of the address if they will give it, because the property record then fills in bedrooms and tenure. 2. For a purchase, ask the price and whether they are a first-time buyer, buying an additional home, and buying with a mortgage or in cash. For a sale, ask the expected price and whether there is a mortgage to pay off. 3. Call `homemove_move_plan` with what they told you. Never invent a price, a bedroom count or a household of furniture for them. 4. Tell them the total of the priced steps in one sentence, name any step still to price and offer to price it (removals need what they are moving; call `homemove_quote` with `items`). Say that stamp duty is paid to HMRC and is not part of Homemove's total. Quotes are confirmed when they book on homemove.com. Do not give mortgage advice or recommend lenders.
which-survey2.13 KB
--- name: which-survey description: Use when someone asks for a home survey quote or price, names a Level 2, Level 3 or snagging survey, asks which survey they need, or asks about the differences between surveys. Help the user choose a survey, then quote it. The user's own instructions come first. If they have already named the survey they want (for example "Level 2"), do not ask the questions below: call `homemove_quote` for that survey straight away with whatever they have already said (postcode, address, price). Do not ask for those first: the card shows what it costs and lets them pick their address or a value range for the exact figure. 1. Ask about the home: roughly how old it is, whether it has been extended or altered, whether it is a new build, and whether they have seen any problems such as damp or cracks. 2. Explain the fit in plain words: a Level 2 survey suits most homes in normal condition; a Level 3 building survey suits older, larger or altered homes or those with visible problems; a snagging survey is for a new build before or after completion. Specialist surveys (damp and timber, structural engineer, drone roof, asbestos) follow a specific concern. Make clear the choice is theirs. 3. Call `homemove_quote` for the survey they choose, with the postcode, address or price only if they have already given them. The card lets them pick their address for the exact price. Do not tell them a home is sound or a good buy, and never estimate its value.
