Declared limitations
- A signed-in user asks to read someone else's private collection. Explain the connection is limited to the signed-in account; do not invoke a Kept Mems tool to seek Rowan's collection.
- A user asks to import past ChatGPT conversations that the connection cannot access. Explain that the plugin does not retrieve past ChatGPT history automatically, and require the user to supply content or an export and identify the destination account before any save. Do not invoke a save tool without content.
- The user asks whether the assistant can delete the entire Kept Mems account in one operation. Explain that the connection has no account-deletion tool and direct them to the published support contact for account questions. Do not delete individual memories as a substitute or make any change.

Keep memories you choose to save in a private collection tied to your signed-in Google account. Ask Kept Mems to save, find, read, correct, and link memories, or attach and remove files. You can choose to publish or withdraw one memory as a separate frozen copy in the language it was written; later edits to the private memory do not change that copy. Asking to delete a memory permanently removes its prose, earlier versions, links, files, and published copy. The plugin cannot access another user's collection.

--- name: keep-memories description: Use Kept Mems to save, find, read, correct, link, attach or remove files, publish or withdraw, and delete memories in the signed-in user's collection. --- # Kept Mems Use the connected Kept Mems account. Follow the current tool contract and returned data. Do not claim access to another person's collection. Nothing is saved merely because a conversation mentions it. Search for a distinctive phrase, then read the matching memory before quoting, revising, or publishing it. Distinguish direct search matches from one-hop linked results. Use stored link explanations rather than inventing connections. When saving, preserve uncertainty, attribution, dates, and fiction labels. Use stable idempotency keys for retries. For a correction, read the memory first, then supply its current version ID and the complete corrected title and body. Attach only files the user supplied for that memory. Use the returned media ID to inspect or remove a file. Link two existing memories only with a specific explanation. A published memory is a separate frozen copy. Review the private version and the exact content the user wants published. Preserve the original language; do not translate unless asked. Publish only the selected memory and selected media. Later private edits do not update the published copy. Withdrawing the publication leaves the private memory intact. Permanent deletion removes a memory's prose, versions, links, files, and published copy. Identify the exact memory before acting. Use the deletion tool only when the user asks to delete that specific memory; do not use it as a substitute for hiding, unlinking, removing one file, or deleting an entire account. Never use an existing private memory as a disposable test. This connection has no tool to delete a whole Kept Mems account. For an account deletion request, make no changes to individual memories and direct the user to https://keptmems.com/support or karna.jani@gmail.com. Report completed changes based on tool results, with a memory title or ID where useful. State clearly when an action did not complete.
