Description

From the marketplace listing

You just got off a client call and the follow-up is due. Ask ChatGPT to draft it from the meeting, with the decisions and who owns what, straight from the transcript KeptInFlow kept. KeptInFlow is a Windows app that keeps what you do on your PC: the meetings you record, the text you copy, the snips you take, your notes, and, if you turn it on, the text that was on your screen. Connect it to ChatGPT and ask about any of it from the web, the desktop app, or your phone. Things you can ask: - "What did we decide in my last meeting?" - "Draft a follow-up email from the kickoff call." - "Who said they'd send the brand assets, and by when?" - "Find the address I copied yesterday." - "What was the total on the print quote I snipped?" - "Show me my recent KeptInFlow items." Read only. ChatGPT can read what KeptInFlow saved. It cannot delete, edit, record, type, or open anything on your PC. Your PC keeps your data. When ChatGPT needs an item, it asks KeptInFlow on your PC for that one item, and nothing is stored on the way. Off until you connect it. In KeptInFlow, open Settings, ChatGPT, turn on access, and enter the short code it shows when ChatGPT asks for it. Disconnect any time from the same place. Who it's for: freelancers, consultants, and small teams who spend the day in calls and need the details afterward. What you need: KeptInFlow installed and running on a Windows PC. When the PC is off or the app is closed, ChatGPT says so and can't read anything until it's back. Screen text is available only when Screen Memory is on in KeptInFlow.

Competitor profile

From the developer’s listing and package; capabilities are not independently tested. Package observed Nov 2, 2026.

Declared capabilities

  • Read meeting transcripts
  • Search what was said in meetings
  • Search copied text and snips

Declared limitations

  • Setup: when ChatGPT asks to connect KeptInFlow, enter the demo pairing code N9D3-JVGF (it opens a demo account with sample data, no PC needed). Deleting is not possible: every tool only reads. ChatGPT should not claim to delete anything and should say meetings are deleted in the KeptInFlow app on the PC.
  • Setup: when ChatGPT asks to connect KeptInFlow, enter the demo pairing code N9D3-JVGF (it opens a demo account with sample data, no PC needed). A general question with nothing to do with the user's saved items. ChatGPT should answer from its own knowledge without calling any KeptInFlow tool.
  • Setup: when ChatGPT asks to connect KeptInFlow, enter the demo pairing code N9D3-JVGF (it opens a demo account with sample data, no PC needed). Starting a recording is not available through ChatGPT. No tool is called to start anything; ChatGPT explains that it can only read what KeptInFlow saved and that recording starts in the app on the PC.

# KeptInFlow

KeptInFlow runs on the user's Windows PC and keeps what they do there. These
tools read what it already saved. They never change anything. Reach for them
when the user mentions something they said in a call, copied, snipped, wrote
down, or saw on screen, and it is not already in the conversation.

Every list or search result carries an id. Pass that id to the matching `get_`
tool to read the whole item.

## Find a meeting and read its transcript

1. Call `list_meetings` for recent calls, newest first. When the user names a
topic or a person instead of a time, call `search_meetings` with those words.
2. Pick the meeting that matches what they said ("this morning's call", "the
sync with Dana"). If two could fit, ask which one.
3. Call `get_meeting_transcript` with its id. Quote short lines with the
speaker's name when you rely on them.

A meeting marked "not transcribed" has no text yet. Say so rather than
guessing what was said.

## Draft a follow-up email

Read the transcript first. Then write a short email: thank the attendees, sum
up what was decided, and list each action item with its owner and due date
when one was said out loud. Never invent an owner or a date. Leave a clear
placeholder instead.

## Find something the user copied or snipped

- "What did I just copy?": call `search_captures` with no query for the newest
  items.
- Otherwise call `search_captures` with the words they remember, then
`get_capture` for the full text. Snips are searched by the text read out of
the image; the image itself is never returned.

## Find something the user saw on screen

Call `search_screen_memory` with the words that were on screen. Add `app` or
`day` (YYYY-MM-DD) when the user gives them. Read a hit in full with
`get_screen_frame`. If Screen Memory is off on the PC, the tool says so; tell
the user where to turn it on rather than retrying.

## Find a note

Call `list_notes` (optionally with a query), then `get_note` for the whole
thing.

## Show the user their items

`list_recent_items` returns recent meetings, captures, and notes together,
newest first, and opens the KeptInFlow view. Pass `query` to search across all
of them, including Screen Memory, or `kind` to show one kind.

## When the PC is not reachable

If a tool answers that KeptInFlow isn't running on the PC, or that ChatGPT
access is turned off, pass that on in plain words and stop. Do not retry in a
loop.

# Set up KeptInFlow

KeptInFlow is a Windows app. This plugin reads what it saved on the user's PC:
recorded meetings, copied text and snips, notes, and text seen on screen.

1. Call `list_recent_items` with `{}`. This checks that the PC answers and
shows the user their newest items.
2. If it answers with items, tell the user in one or two sentences what they
can ask, for example "What did we decide in my last meeting?" or "Find the
   link I copied yesterday."
3. If it answers with nothing saved yet, explain that items appear once they
record a meeting, copy or snip something, or write a note in KeptInFlow.
4. If it answers that KeptInFlow isn't running on the PC, ask them to open
KeptInFlow on the PC and try again. If it says ChatGPT access is turned
off, point them to Settings, ChatGPT in KeptInFlow.

Keep it short. If they installed the plugin in the middle of a task, go back to
that task after step 2.
