Description

From the marketplace listing

You bring the idea, Kinetik does the work. Kinetik is an AI agent that researches what's trending in your niche, writes and designs your content, publishes it to your social accounts when you approve it, and shows you what actually works. Built for creators and businesses that need to show up consistently without a dedicated content team. • Trend radar: Kinetik tracks emerging trends in your niche and surfaces ideas worth recreating, with references you can use in one tap. • Content made for you: carousels, Reels, photo effects and videos, created in your brand voice and sized for Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn. • Publishing with your OK: approve a post and Kinetik publishes it to Instagram or LinkedIn, or saves a video to your TikTok drafts. • Analytics that answer the real questions: what should you post next? What should you stop doing? How is your account actually performing? • Ideas on demand: ask for a month of content, a launch plan or 10 hooks for tomorrow, and get it all in chat.

Competitor profile

From the developer’s listing and package; capabilities are not independently tested. Package observed Nov 3, 2026.

Declared capabilities

  • Research niche trends with links to original posts.
  • Analyze public social accounts and identify content ideas.
  • Create images, carousels, short videos and multi-platform media projects.

Declared limitations

  • Do not invoke Kinetik for a task outside social-content research, creation and publishing. Expected behavior: Kinetik is not invoked. The assistant explains that calendar changes and email are outside this plugin's scope or offers an appropriate connected tool. It does not claim that the appointment changed or that an email was sent.
  • Translate a caption supplied in the prompt without invoking Kinetik. Expected behavior: Responds directly with an accurate Spanish translation, such as: “Nuestra aplicación para iOS estará disponible pronto. Apúntate a la lista de espera.” Does not invoke Kinetik, create a media project or attempt to publish the caption.
  • Calculate a post's engagement rate from figures already supplied in the prompt without connecting to or analyzing an Instagram account. Expected behavior: Responds directly: using the supplied likes and comments, engagement rate by reach = (120 + 15) / 3,000 × 100 = 4.5%. Does not invoke Kinetik, request an Instagram connection or fetch account data.

Review scenarios; not an exhaustive list.

Cost & access

The plugin does not sell products, take payments or provide checkout inside ChatGPT. Its content-generation features use the available usage of the user's existing Kinetik account.

description: "Use whenever the user wants help with their social media through Kinetik: researching trends and their niche, analyzing an account, getting ideas or a content plan, or making, changing, finding or posting images, carousels, short videos and campaigns; also when they ask what Kinetik can do. How a request goes from the user's words to what they see."

# Working with Kinetik

Kinetik researches the user's niche, understands their account, and makes and posts content in their
brand: their look and their voice. It keeps everything it makes, across every chat.

## Read the request as an intent

- **Something new** (a post, a carousel, a Reel): Kinetik makes it.
- **A change** to something made before: Kinetik changes that piece. Find it first when the chat does
  not hold it. A change makes a new version; the earlier ones stay, so the user can go back.
- **Many connected pieces for one topic or goal:** `kinetik-media-projects`.
- **"What did I make", "last week's carousels"**: Kinetik finds it.
- **Ideas on demand** (a month of content, a launch plan, ten hooks for tomorrow): they come back in
  the chat as text. Making them is the next step, when the user wants it.
- **What is trending**, across social media or in their niche: `kinetik-trends`.
- **Understanding an account** (how it performs, what to post next, what to stop) **and posting**:
  `kinetik-accounts`.

Images, carousels and videos the user asks Kinetik for are made with `create_content`, so they come
out in their brand and are kept with the rest of their content.

## Content takes minutes

Making content is work that runs for a few minutes. Start everything the request needs at once, then
stay with each piece of work until it is done, has failed or has a question, all within the same
turn. Slow is normal: the same work is never started twice. When everything is done, show it all
together in one view, since that is the only place the user sees images and videos. Then add a sentence or
two, not a retelling of what they already see.

## When Kinetik asks

Kinetik comes back with a question when it needs something only the user has: a photo, a topic, an
account to connect. Ask the user exactly that, in their language. With their answer, ask Kinetik for
the same thing again.

## The user's files

Photos, videos and documents go to Kinetik first, then into what it makes. Where the user can attach
files to their message, they attach them there; elsewhere Kinetik's own upload form takes them.
A photo from earlier in the chat belongs to the earlier piece: a new request starts from new material
unless the user says to reuse it.

description: Use when the user wants to understand a social account, their own or someone else's by handle (how it performs, what to post next, what to stop doing), connect Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn, or post there. Connecting accounts, analyzing them, and posting with the user's consent.
---

# Social accounts

## Connecting

Kinetik posts, and reads a user's own results, only through an account they connected. When a request
needs an account that is not connected yet, Kinetik says so. Show that account's card,
`instagram-connect`, `tiktok-connect` or `linkedin-connect` (their markup is in `kinetik-show`), and
wait: the user connects in their browser and comes back, then do what they asked. Instagram takes a
Business or Creator account, and its sign-in page is Composio's.

## Analyzing

- **Their own account:** once it is connected, Kinetik reads its posts and results.
- **Someone else's, by handle:** no connection is needed, and only public posts are read.

An analysis answers what the user really wants to know: how the account is doing, what to post next
and what to stop doing. Offer to make what it suggests.

## Posting

Posting is the one thing that leaves Kinetik, so the user always sees the post as it will look and
says yes first. A request to post comes back as that preview with a question: show it, ask it, and
post on a clear yes to that exact post. A changed caption or picture is a new preview.

Instagram and LinkedIn posts go live. A TikTok video is saved to the user's TikTok drafts instead, and
they finish posting it in TikTok; say so.

description: Use when the user asks for many connected pieces of content at once for one topic or goal (a launch, a campaign, a content week, one idea for several platforms), or comes back to such a set. What a media project is, when to make one, and how to keep working on it.
---

# Media projects

A media project is a set of different pieces of content made together for one topic or goal: a
product launch with a post, a carousel and a Reel; a week of posts for a campaign; one idea cut for
Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn. It is what the user gets when they ask for many connected pieces at
once.

## When to make one

- **Several connected pieces for one topic or goal:** one media project. Ask for the whole set in
  one request, so the pieces come back together and fit each other.
- **One post, one carousel, one video:** just that piece, without a project around it.
- **When it is unclear** whether the user wants one piece or a set, ask them.

## Its shape

A project groups its pieces into sections by kind. Each piece has a version per platform, such as a
Reel and a TikTok cut of the same idea. A piece Kinetik could not make yet says what the user still
has to bring.

## Coming back to it

Projects outlive the chat. When the user mentions one ("the launch pack", "last week's campaign"),
find it before changing it, and change only the piece they mean; the rest of the set stays as it is.
Show the project whole when they want to see it whole.

---

# Showing Kinetik's results

The user sees images, carousels and videos only in Kinetik's view, so it is how what Kinetik made, found or needs reaches them. Results from
Kinetik's tasks already come with the view written: show it as it is, and add nothing to it. This
reference is for the rest: showing something again, putting several results in one view, or asking
the user for something. How a request is worked from intent to result is in `kinetik`; trends,
accounts and media projects each have their own skill.

The view is written as simple markup: elements with quoted attributes, nested where an element holds
others. Several results go into one view, wrapped in `<render title="…">…</render>`; a single
element needs no wrapper.

## Choose the component

| To show | Component |
|---|---|
| One image, video, PDF or table | `file` |
| Text: an explanation, a caption to copy, a small table | `markdown` |
| Related images in order, a carousel's slides | `gallery` |
| How a post will look on Instagram | `instagram` |
| Before and after, side by side | `compare` |
| A profile, a scorecard or a source, built from files, numbers and text | `card` |
| One labelled number, in a card or a grid | `metric` |
| Several cards or numbers side by side | `grid` |
| Many connected pieces made for one goal | `media-project` |
| What is trending across social media, to pick from | `trending` |
| Files the user has to hand over | `upload` |
| Connecting the user's Instagram | `instagram-connect` |
| Connecting the user's TikTok | `tiktok-connect` |
| Connecting the user's LinkedIn | `linkedin-connect` |
| What the user has connected | `connections` |
| The user's Kinetik credits | `credits` |
| A question with options, or a button to answer | `choice`, `action` |

## Components

### `file`

    <file path="photos/launch/cover.png" caption="Cover"/>

One file Kinetik made, by the `path` its result gave; `url` instead for a link that is already
shared. `caption` is optional. Images, videos and PDFs show as themselves, a CSV as a table.

### `markdown`

    <markdown copyable="true">Five habits that keep me posting on busy weeks.</markdown>

Text, written as markdown. `copyable="true"` adds a Copy button, for captions and scripts the user
takes away.

### `gallery`

    <gallery title="Launch visuals"><file path="…"/><file path="…"/></gallery>

Related images, in viewing order. Unrelated files stay separate.

### `instagram`

    <instagram caption="Five habits… #contentplanning"><file path="…/slide-01.png"/><file path="…/slide-02.png"/></instagram>

The files as one Instagram post, in posting order, with the caption as it would go out. Use it for
content meant for Instagram, or when the user asks how it will look there. It is a preview: nothing
is posted.

### `compare`

    <compare><file path="…/before.jpg"/><file path="…/after.jpg"/></compare>

Exactly two files: before first, after second.

### `card`, `metric` and `grid`

    <grid columns="3">
      <card title="@kinetikcoffee" subtitle="Instagram" href="https://instagram.com/kinetikcoffee">
        <metric label="Followers" value="12.4K" delta="+3%"/>
        <markdown>Reels outperform carousels two to one.</markdown>
      </card>
      <metric label="Avg. reach" value="8.1K"/>
    </grid>

- **`card`** groups files, metrics and text into one block: a profile, a scorecard, a source. `title`,
  `subtitle` and `href` (an https link it opens) are optional.
- **`metric`** is one number with its `label` and `value`, written as it should read; `delta` (such
  as `+14%`) is optional.
- **`grid`** lays cards, metrics and files side by side in 1 to 4 `columns`, and stacks them on
  small screens by itself.

### `media-project`

A set of connected pieces made for one goal, as one view: sections by kind, each piece in a version
per platform, and what the user still has to bring. Kinetik's results write it; write it yourself
only to show a set again or together.

    <media-project title="Cold-brew kit launch" summary="Launch next week: 39 €, five networks.">
      <section title="Videos">
        <item title="18 hours in 8 seconds" why="A time-lapse makes the 18-hour claim visible.">
          <variant platform="instagram" cut="Reel" ratio="9:16"><file path="…/reel.mp4"/></variant>
          <variant platform="tiktok" ratio="9:16"><file path="…/tiktok.mp4"/></variant>
        </item>
      </section>
      <section title="People on camera">
        <item title="Kit in action">
          <variant platform="tiktok" status="missing" need="A 10-second clip of someone using the kit."/>
        </item>
      </section>
    </media-project>

- **`media-project`:** `title`; optional `summary`, and `brand`, `handle` and `avatar` for the
  account the previews post as.
- **`section`:** a group of pieces of one kind, strongest first.
- **`item`:** one piece; `why` says in a sentence why it works.
- **`variant`:** the piece on one platform. `platform` is `instagram`, `tiktok`, `linkedin`, `x` or
  `threads`. Optional: `cut`, `ratio`, `duration` (seconds), `pages`, `caption`, `format`.
  One file is a picture or a video, several are a carousel, text is a `markdown` child.
- **`status`**, on any of them: `ready` (the default), `sample`, `planned`, or `missing` with `need`
  saying what the user has to bring.

### `trending`

    <trending/>
    <trending title="What's trending this week"/>

What is trending across social media now, filled in by Kinetik; the user picks one with a tap.
`title` is optional and replaces the heading. It takes nothing else: the trends are always today's.

### `upload`

    <upload title="Add the photo for your post"/>

A place for the user to hand over files, where the host does not let them attach files to their
message. `title` is optional. When the files are in, the user's message says so.

### `instagram-connect`

    <instagram-connect message="To post your carousel, connect your Instagram."/>

Connects the user's Instagram, to post to it or read its results. `message` is one line in their
language saying why; the card itself explains that Instagram needs a Business or Creator account.
The user signs in on Composio's page.

### `tiktok-connect` and `linkedin-connect`

    <tiktok-connect message="To save the video to your TikTok drafts, connect TikTok."/>
    <linkedin-connect message="To post this on LinkedIn, connect your LinkedIn."/>

Connect the user's TikTok or LinkedIn, each on the service's own sign-in page. `message` is one line
in their language saying why. Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn are the accounts that
connect here.

When a task needs an account, its result usually brings the card already: show it as returned. The
user connects in their browser and comes back; nothing tells you when, so ask them to say so. A card
may show even when the account is already connected; `connections` says what is.

### `connections`

    <connections title="Your accounts"/>

What the user has connected, one row per service, each with a way to disconnect it. `title` is
optional, and it takes nothing else: which services are there is read for the user. Show it when the
user asks what is connected, and before asking for a new connection when one may already be there.

### `credits`

    <credits/>

The user's Kinetik balance, with a way to refresh it. It takes nothing: the balance is read for the
user. Show it when they ask about credits, or when a task could not start because none are left;
then say the task did not start, and go on when the user asks. Where the client sells nothing, the
card shows no way to buy, so do not offer one in words either.

### `choice` and `action`

    <choice id="platforms" multiple="true">
      <option value="instagram">Instagram</option>
      <option value="tiktok" description="Saved to your drafts">TikTok</option>
    </choice>
    <action id="approve" label="Looks good"/>

A question the user answers with a tap. `choice` takes at least two options and, with `multiple`,
several picks; an option's `description` is one line under it. `action` is one button; `kind` may
be `primary`, `secondary` or `danger`. The answer arrives as the user's message, the label(s) they
chose. Several choices in one view are answered together.

`choice`, `action`, `upload`, the connect cards, `connections` and `credits` go at the top of a
view, never inside a `card` or a `grid`.

## Rules

- **One view at the end.** When several results are ready, show them together in one view, then
  say a sentence or two. Do not retell what the user sees.
- **The chat keeps what it showed.** A view stays as it was. A next step is a new view, and the
  same view is shown again only when the user asks.
- **Markup that is wrong is refused** with what to fix. Fix it and show again.
- **Where the host shows no views,** the answer says so. Give the user the link to the view and the
  link to each file it holds, with the text the answer carries; the links open for the user once
  signed in to Kinetik.

# Trends

"What's trending" is either what is taking off across social media, which Kinetik shows, or what
works in the user's own niche, which Kinetik researches. When it is unclear, start with the first and
offer the second.

## Trending across social media

Kinetik follows the content trends taking off across social media right now: photo effects, video
formats, carousel styles. They have a view of their own, Kinetik's trends view (`kinetik-show`
documents it), and that view is the answer to "what's trending": the user sees every trend Kinetik
found, each as it looks, and picks one with a tap. Show the view rather than researching or listing
trends in text; the view fills itself with today's trends, so none are named or promised from memory.
Then a sentence is enough. If the user cannot see views, name a few from what the view returned.

## Trending in the user's niche

Kinetik researches what is taking off in the user's niche: posts, formats and news, each with a link
to the original so the user can see it for themselves. Give the ideas worth recreating with their links, and offer to
make the user's own version of the one they like.

## When the user picks a trend

A pick arrives as the user's own message ("Make the … with Kinetik"), with which trend it is. It is a
new piece:

- **New material.** It is made from the photo or topic the user gives now. Something from earlier is
  reused only when they say so.
- **What this trend needs.** Some need a person in the photo, some a pet or an object, a carousel
  style needs a topic. When Kinetik says the material does not fit, pass that on as the question.
- **As the trend is made.** A video trend becomes a video, a still stays a still, unless the user asks
  otherwise. The look is the trend's own, so add no style wishes the user did not express.

Release notes

Updated Kinetik skills to use dedicated Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn sign-in cards instead of generic connection forms. Removed instructions for entering API keys and clarified content creation with create_content.
