Description

From the marketplace listing

Search a public catalog of businesses, people, products, software, games, books and other works, contributed by people and makers. Find candidates for a need, compare their stated details and open their source links. Lexandry provides three tools: discover catalog categories, search listings and read up to five listings together. Keywords and an optional category determine which listings match. A short need sentence orders equally matching results by its words; it never filters results and is not processed by AI. Search results show core listing fields, keyword matches and a selection of sources; opening a listing returns all its available sources. Listing content is supplied by contributors and makers, not independently verified by Lexandry. Proof of control of a listing's link does not verify its claims. No account is required. Searches and reads are recorded. Search text and the need sentence are stored with no automatic expiry after recognizable contact details are reduced; this is not anonymization. Eligible managers of listings reached may see the reduced need sentence and stated assistant/model information. Describe the need without names, contact details, secrets or conversation history. See the privacy policy for recipients, retention and how to request targeted deletion.

Release notes

This revision corrects the readOnlyHint annotations for lexandry_search_listings and lexandry_get_listings to false. Both tools already persist search/read events and can associate them with task intent for maker insights. Their descriptions now make that persistence explicit. We are no longer requesting a read-only exception for these two tools. Their input/output schemas and execution behavior are unchanged. Intent remains a short description of the user's task, not conversation history or a request for personal details. Keywords and filters select candidates; intent only orders candidates with equal keyword scores. Listing retrieval uses supplied intent/context for recording, not ranking. Authorized managers of reached listings may see reduced intent text under the existing access and plan controls. Stored query/intent copies have specified recognizable contact details removed; this is not anonymization and other personal details may remain. Stored context has no automatic expiry. These calls do not edit catalog listings, send messages or initiate payments. The released commit passed the complete local suite: 559 Rust tests, 22 JavaScript tests and additional deployment, privacy and mail-security checks. This includes MCP transport/schema parity, intent ranking, PostgreSQL context recording/retries, maker reporting and contact reduction. GitHub security and staging passed, and public production metadata was verified after promotion. A separate synthetic custom-MCP test in one personal ChatGPT account showed search/read calls executing without confirmation under the default low-risk permission setting, and repeated confirmation under the read-only permission setting. This is limited UX evidence, not a guarantee of risk classification, prompt-free behavior across accounts, or directory approval. lexandry_describe_catalog is also marked readOnlyHint: false because it records general visit statistics. Its description now discloses that recording. This call does not create a maker intent. Its schema and execution behavior, and the other annotations on all three tools, remain unchanged. The production MCP endpoint remains https://www.lexandry.com/mcp. The existing 4:21 demonstration and five positive/three negative review cases remain attached. This revision updates annotations and disclosures; it does not change the tested catalog operations.
