Description
From the marketplace listing
Lowpi - Price Comparison is a product price research tool: it helps you research and compare what the same product costs across many online stores before you buy. Ask about a phone, laptop, tablet, TV, game console, headphones or other electronics, and Lowpi shows the offers it found at stores such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Best Buy, Newegg and Mercado Libre, sorted by price, with product images, store names and links. What you can do: • Compare prices for a specific product, for example "Compare iPhone 17 prices across US stores". • Browse the products Lowpi tracks when you only know the category, like "gaming laptops" or "Samsung TVs". • See the price range and how much the same product varies between stores. • Open every offer in a full-screen view, sort by price and filter by store. • Get refreshed prices: when saved prices are older than 12 hours, Lowpi checks the stores again and updates the results automatically. Lowpi works in 19 countries, in local currency: United States, Mexico, Canada, United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Netherlands, Australia, India, Singapore, Japan, Argentina, Colombia, Peru and Brazil. Lowpi does not sell products or process payments: you buy directly from the store. Some store links are affiliate links. Visit lowpi.com to see every offer for a product.

Declared limitations
- Purchasing and payment are not supported: Lowpi only compares prices and links to stores. The app must not claim an order was placed or ask for payment details.
- Price alerts and notifications are not supported. The app must explain it cannot set alerts and must not claim one was created.
- Unrelated request: no Lowpi tool should be called.

Cost & access
Lowpi does not process payments. Users buy directly from third-party online stores (Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Mercado Libre and others) through outbound links, some of which are affiliate links. There is no cart, checkout or payment inside ChatGPT; Lowpi only shows prices and links to the stores.

description: Use Lowpi for shopping price questions - what a product costs, where it is cheapest, where to buy it, or comparing prices between online stores - in Mexico, the US, Spain, the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Canada, Australia, India, Singapore, Japan, Argentina, Colombia, Peru or Brazil.
---
When the user asks how much something costs, where it is cheapest, where to buy it, or wants to compare stores:
1. Call Lowpi's tools and answer from what they return.
2. Work out the user's country. If it is not clear from the conversation, ask. Lowpi's slug for Mexico is `precio`; common names like "mexico" or "spain" also work.
3. Call `compare_prices` with the product name as a shopper would type it (brand + model + key spec, e.g. "iphone 15 128gb").
4. If `found` is false, offer the `suggestions`, or call `find_products` with fewer words.
5. For vague requests ("gaming laptops", "samsung tv"), call `find_products` first.
6. Answer with the 3–5 cheapest offers (price, store, title) and always include the `lowpi_url` so the user can see every offer with refreshed prices.
7. If `stale` is true, say the prices were last updated at `updated_at`; the Lowpi card refreshes them automatically.
Never invent prices, stores or links that the tools did not return. Lowpi does not buy anything or take payments: for purchases, give the store link.
Release notes
Fixed tool annotations: every tool now sets readOnlyHint, destructiveHint, idempotentHint and openWorldHint explicitly to true or false, matching its actual behavior. refresh_prices is now marked readOnlyHint=false and openWorldHint=true because it re-scrapes store prices and updates the stored record. Updated the plugin icon and logo.
