Description

From the marketplace listing

MasterPiano helps piano learners find music they can actually play. Ask for classical sheet music by title, composer, era, ABRSM grade or level, and the score appears right in the chat with a play button, its MasterPiano level (1 to 100) and its approximate ABRSM grade. What you can ask: - Find sheet music: "a grade 3 Baroque piece", "easy Chopin", "Gymnopédie No. 1". - Show and play a piece: the opening bars as notation with a real piano sound. - Suggest fingering: finger numbers for both hands on the opening bars. - Check a piece's difficulty: level, approximate grade, what makes it hard and easier pieces to learn first. - Create a sight-reading exercise: a fresh exercise at your level, in the key and time signature you choose. The library covers public-domain classical piano music (composers who died by 1925, from Bach to Debussy and Joplin). Songs still under copyright are not available. The card shows the opening bars; each card links to the piece's page on masterpiano.com, where you can read the whole score and practise it with live feedback on your piano. No account or sign-in needed. The plugin cannot hear you play.

# Get started with MasterPiano

MasterPiano finds classical piano pieces in the public domain, shows their opening bars with a play button, and gives each one a level from 1 to 100 with its approximate ABRSM grade.

Ask the person what they play at the moment, a grade, a level or a piece they know, then offer one of these to try:

- A piece to learn next at their grade, from an era they like.
- How a famous piece starts, played back.
- Fingering for a piece they are learning.
- Whether a piece is too hard for them, and what to learn first.
- A fresh sight-reading exercise at their grade.

Songs still under copyright, such as film, pop and game music, are not available. The chat cannot hear the piano; practising with live feedback happens on the piece's page at masterpiano.com.
