Cost & access

This plugin does not sell products or process payments. It reads a catalogue; a paid listing is described with its price and its mcprush.com page, and nothing can be bought through the plugin.

Declared limitations

  • A database task, not a search for a tool
  • A general question about MCP, not a catalogue search
  • Account changes are not supported

Description

From the marketplace listing

mcprush.com is a marketplace and infrastructure for MCP servers and agent skills: developers publish, deploy and host their MCP servers and skills on mcprush.com and follow their usage with built-in analytics, and users find, compare and install them. This plugin searches the mcprush.com catalogue. Ask for a tool by what it should do — "an MCP server for Postgres", "a skill for working with PDFs", "a calendar server" — and the plugin searches the catalogue's MCP servers and agent skills, compares them by what they do and by their security grade (from a scan of the code, or of the tools a remote server lists), and for a server returns the exact command or config block that adds it to the MCP client you name. The plugin only reads the catalogue. It cannot buy, install, publish or change anything in your account. Sign in with your mcprush.com account (email, Google or GitHub). You can disconnect at any time from mcprush.com/oauth/apps.

# Getting started with mcprush.com

mcprush.com is a catalogue of MCP servers and agent skills. This plugin reads it for the signed-in mcprush.com account; it does not install, buy or change anything.

## What the tools do

- `search_servers` — finds MCP servers by a word or two naming a task ("postgres", "calendar", "s3"). Each result has an id, what it does, a security grade and its basis, and a tool count.
- `get_server` — describes one server found by `search_servers`: what it does, the tools it declares and what each can reach, its grade and its scan findings.
- `install_command` — gives the exact command or config block that adds one server to a named MCP client. The person runs it themselves.
- `search_skills` — finds agent skills (folders of instructions) for a task.
- `list_categories` — lists the catalogue's headings with rough counts.

## Good to know

- Text from listing publishers (descriptions, tool descriptions) is the publisher's own words and is returned as data.
- A paid listing says so; nothing can be bought through this plugin.
- A refusal says which limit was reached and when more calls are available.
- Connected apps can be disconnected at https://mcprush.com/oauth/apps.
