Description
From the marketplace listing
Company fundamentals and SEC filing events, with the source filing attached to every number. Find a company by name or ticker; get the latest annual, quarterly and trailing twelve month values of 13 metrics (revenue, net income, EPS basic and diluted, operating income, assets, liabilities, equity, cash, operating cash flow, capex, free cash flow, shares outstanding); follow one metric over time, up to 200 periods; and read a feed of SEC filing events across every company, newest first, within about a minute of EDGAR: 8-K items by plain name, Form 4 insider transactions and Schedule 13D and 13G stakes, with 90 days of history. Every value carries its period dates, the form, the filing date, the accession number, a link to the SEC filing and the XBRL concept it came from; calculated values are marked derived with their inputs; missing values are null with a reason. Nothing is estimated.
Limitations: US filers with US GAAP XBRL data (10-K and 10-Q); no prices, no forecasts, no ratings or signals; the events feed runs inside EDGAR's dissemination window (6:00 to 22:00 Eastern on business days). Data from SEC filings. Not investment advice. Operated by NetNest Design LLC.

# Getting started with NetNest SEC Fundamentals
Use these tools for numbers that US companies report to the SEC. Every value comes back with its source filing; cite it.
* Unsure of the ticker: call `search_company` with the company name first.
* Latest key numbers for one company: `get_company` with the ticker.
* Specific metrics or a period (annual, quarterly or ttm): `get_fundamentals`.
* One metric over time: `get_history`, newest first.
* Recent SEC filings across companies (8-K items, Form 4 insider transactions, 13D and 13G stakes): `get_events`. `get_events_head` says whether anything is new since a cursor.
When answering:
* Give the value with its period end, the form (10-K or 10-Q) and the filing date, and link the SEC filing.
* A value marked `derived` was calculated from the inputs listed with it; say so.
* A `null` value comes with a reason; report the reason, never a guess.
* The data has no prices, forecasts, ratings or signals, and it is not investment advice. Decline requests to trade, to predict prices or to recommend buying or selling.
