Penround Group Cards
The Open Apps, Inc. v1.0.2
A group card everyone signs
From the developer
Declared capabilities
- Start a group card anyone can sign from one link
- Approve every message before it shows
- Deliver it by email or link at a set time
Cost & access
The only thing for sale is an optional printed hardcover book of a card's approved messages (a physical good), offered only to users in the United States and Canada, where Lulu prints and ships it, and paid on penround.ambientapp.ai through Stripe. The plugin sells no digital goods and shows no plans or upgrades; group cards themselves cost nothing in ChatGPT and work in every country.
Declared limitations
- A card image for one person. Penround collects messages from several people; designing a card image is ChatGPT's own job.
- E-signature. Getting a document signed is not a group card, and Penround never handles contracts.
- Wording help. Suggesting what to write is ChatGPT's own job; Penround only collects and delivers messages that people write themselves.
Onboarding example
Start a farewell card for Ayşe that the whole team can sign by Friday

Description
From the marketplace listing
Penround makes a group card that many people sign (a leaving card or group ecard) for a farewell, birthday, retirement, wedding, new baby, sympathy, get-well, the holidays or a thank-you. It is for anyone collecting messages for one person from coworkers, classmates or family. Ask ChatGPT to start a card and share its sign link. People open the link in any browser, without a ChatGPT account, and leave a message. Every message waits for your approval: ChatGPT tells you who has signed, and you read and approve each message in the card view. Offensive words are refused, and a safety check holds anything questionable for you to look at. When the card is ready, Penround emails it to the recipient at the time you choose, in your time zone or the recipient's, or gives you a private link that opens at that time. You type the recipient's email address into the card itself, never into the chat. In the United States and Canada, you can also order the approved messages as a printed hardcover keepsake book, one message per page. Checkout happens on penround.ambientapp.ai: you enter the delivery address and pay there, never in ChatGPT. Limits: - One recipient per card. Messages are text only, up to 600 characters. - A book needs at least 3 approved messages and holds up to 150. - The printed book is offered only in the United States and Canada, where it ships. Cards work in every country and can be signed and sent anywhere. - The book can't yet print Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew or Devanagari script; the card shows every script. - Penround is for cards that several people sign, not a card you write alone, an image or an e-signature.

--- name: group-card description: Start a Penround group card that coworkers, classmates or family sign on a web page without ChatGPT, for a farewell or leaving card, birthday, retirement, wedding, new baby, sympathy, get-well, the holidays or a thank-you, and approve or hide every message before the recipient sees it. Use when someone wants a group card, leaving card, farewell card or group ecard that several people sign, or asks who has signed a card they started. Not for a card only the user writes, a card image or an e-signature. --- Use this skill when the user wants several people to sign one card for someone. The user's explicit instructions always come first. ## Flow 1. `list_cards` shows the cards the user already started. `create_card` starts a new one with the occasion, the recipient's name and, if given, when signing closes. Sympathy and get-well cards use the occasion `other`, with the title the user wants. It returns the sign link to share in a team chat, a class group or an email. 2. People sign from any browser, without an account or ChatGPT. Each message waits for the user's approval; offensive words are refused and a safety check holds anything questionable. 3. `get_card` says who has signed and what is waiting, by message number. `approve_messages` and `hide_messages` act on the numbers the user names; if a signer has more than one message, ask which number. `add_messages` adds the user's own message or messages pasted from elsewhere. 4. `update_card` changes the title, from line, note, colour theme, cover photo or deadline, or stops and restarts signing. 5. When the card is ready, offer to send it (the schedule-delivery skill). For users in the United States and Canada, the messages can also become a printed keepsake book (the keepsake-book skill). `show_sample_card` opens a sample card for someone deciding whether to start. ## Scope - One recipient per card. Messages are text only, up to 600 characters. - Cards work in every country; the printed book is offered only in the United States and Canada. - Message text shows in the card view, not in tool results; summarise counts and names, never invent messages. - `delete_card` only when the user clearly asks to delete a card.

keepsake-book1.96 KB
--- name: keepsake-book description: Turn the approved messages of a Penround group card into a printed hardcover keepsake book, one message per page with the recipient's name on the cover, and track the order until it arrives. Use when the user wants to print or keep the messages from a group card, asks what the keepsake book looks like, wants to order it as a gift, or asks whether their book has shipped. The printed book is offered only to users in the United States and Canada, where it ships. --- Use this skill when the user wants the messages from a group card as a printed book. The user's explicit instructions always come first. ## Flow 1. The book is made from a card's approved messages. If the user has no card yet, start one first with the group-card skill. 2. `preview_keepsake_book` lays out the square hardcover page by page and lists anything to fix first, such as too few approved messages or a script the book cannot print yet. Show the user what it reports before ordering. 3. `order_keepsake_book` saves the approved messages as they are now and returns a secure checkout link on penround.ambientapp.ai. The user enters the delivery address (it can be the recipient's) and pays on that page. Never ask for an address or card details in the chat. 4. `get_order_status` answers whether the book is paid, printed, shipped or delivered, with the tracking link. ## Scope - A book needs at least 3 approved messages and holds up to 150, one per page, plus a page of everyone who signed. - The printed book is offered only to users in the United States and Canada, where it ships. Elsewhere the book tools reply that printed keepsake books aren't available in the user's country; cards themselves work in every country and can be signed and sent anywhere. - The book cannot yet print Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew or Devanagari script; the preview names any message that needs it. - Nothing is charged in ChatGPT. The cost is shown in the preview and on the checkout page.

schedule-delivery1.47 KB
--- name: schedule-delivery description: Send a finished Penround group card to its recipient now or at a set time, by email or as a private link that opens at that moment, in the user's time zone or the recipient's, and change or cancel a delivery that has not gone out. Use when the user wants the group card delivered on someone's last day, birthday morning or another set time, or asks to move or cancel a scheduled card. --- Use this skill when a group card is ready to reach its recipient. The user's explicit instructions always come first. ## Flow 1. `get_card` (or `list_cards`) finds the card and shows how many messages are approved; suggest approving waiting messages first. 2. `schedule_delivery` with method `email` sends one email at the time the user names, in local time. The recipient's email address is typed into the card's own delivery form, never into the chat; if no address is saved yet the tool returns `needs_recipient_email` and the card shows that form. 3. `schedule_delivery` with method `link` returns a private link that opens at the set time, for the user to pass on by hand, in a team chat or in person. 4. `cancel_delivery` cancels a delivery that has not been sent. Signing reopens if the deadline has not passed. A card already sent cannot be unsent. ## Scope - One recipient per card, and one delivery at a time. - Confirm the date, time and time zone back to the user in words before scheduling. - Do not ask for or repeat the recipient's email address in the chat.
