A place with no airport of its own flies via the nearest one, and says so. • The trains and buses that run that day: every direct train and cross-border bus with its times, from the operators' published timetables (pickthetrain.com, pickthebus.com). • Plane or train, door to door: the trip raced from city centre to city centre, airport and security included. • Where to stay: one hotel for what you asked for (the finest, affordable luxury, best value, a bargain, or one room for a family), every hotel judged the same way with no paid placement, and for exact dates the live price of a refundable room (pickthehotel.com). • What to sort before you go: travel insurance, and an eSIM when you leave the EU's roaming area. Then save it. Saving gives a private link that opens the trip in Pick the travel, with no account. There you tick what is booked, switch to another train that day, and switch on reminders: a week before, the evening before, time to go with a leave-by time, on arrival and before the trip home, by phone notification or email. Pick the travel also re-reads the timetable of every saved train and bus and tells you if yours moves or stops running that day.
