Description

From the marketplace listing

Chashmalink answers questions about Israeli household electricity from measured smart-meter data rather than estimates off a bill. Behind it sits an analysed corpus of more than 20,000 Israeli households across 500+ municipalities, each a full hourly export from Israel Electric Corporation (IEC). That is what lets these tools answer with a number rather than a rule of thumb. Your own consumption file: attach the hourly CSV you download from the IEC website (or upload it on a one-time Chashmalink page), and the plan comparison, solar simulation and profile classification run on your household's own measured usage: • analyze_iec_consumption_file — reads the file into a consumption profile (hour-of-day curve, weekday/weekend averages, monthly totals, profile class). • create_iec_upload_link — a one-time upload page, for the mobile app or large files. • delete_consumption_profile — deletes the profile on request. Comparison and analysis: • compare_electricity_plans — rank every plan on the Israeli market by what it saves a specific household per year, from the file, a 24-hour curve or a monthly kWh figure; with the saving versus the current plan and a link to each plan. • simulate_solar_tracks — compare Israel's two exclusive rooftop solar tracks against a real load shape, with payback. • classify_consumption_profile — evening, night, morning, weekend or balanced, with a night-shift opportunity figure. • get_city_consumption_benchmark, get_national_load_curve — published consumption statistics. • estimate_appliance_cost, size_air_conditioner, compare_ev_running_cost — running costs at the current tariff. • get_supplier_directory, how_to_export_my_iec_data, explain_supplier_switch_process, check_smart_meter_at_address. Privacy: personal details in the file (name, address, meter number) are discarded. Only hour-of-day and monthly summaries are kept, for 30 days, under a random id, and can be deleted at any time. Adding the readings to anonymous national statistics is opt-in only, happens after the 30 days, and is cancelled by deleting first. Population figures are published only where at least 25 households stand behind them. Transparency: plans are ranked by computed saving only. Chashmalink may earn a fee from some suppliers; each plan says so, and it never affects the order. Nothing is bought in the chat: plan links open Chashmalink's recommendation page, where the person chooses to request a callback or go to the supplier. No account is needed. Figures are in shekels and kWh.

Release notes

Your own consumption file: attach (or upload) the hourly CSV from the Israel Electric Corporation and get the plan ranking, solar simulation and profile on measured usage. Adds analyze_iec_consumption_file, create_iec_upload_link and delete_consumption_profile; the comparison adds saving versus the current plan, a per-plan commercial disclosure, the ranking method, and links to Chashmalink's recommendation page. Also added to this listing: explain_supplier_switch_process and check_smart_meter_at_address.
