ProofSnap
ProofSnap v1.0.1
Web pages as signed evidence
From the developer
Declared capabilities
- Capture web pages as evidence
- Compare captures
- Watch pages for changes
Cost & access
Nothing is sold and no checkout or plan change happens in ChatGPT. Captures use the user's existing ProofSnap plan; captures beyond its allowance and optional eIDAS timestamps are billed to that existing account under its terms, after the user confirms the count in the chat.
Declared limitations
- Capturing a page behind the user's own login is not supported
- Editing or backdating evidence is not possible
- Requests unrelated to web evidence
Onboarding example
Capture https://example.com as evidence.

Description
From the marketplace listing
ProofSnap captures a public web page as an evidence package: screenshot, HTML, page text, network metadata, SHA-256 hashes, a signed manifest, chain of custody, an OpenTimestamps Bitcoin proof and, on request, an eIDAS qualified timestamp. In ChatGPT you can capture a page, compare it with an earlier capture and see what changed, watch a page on a schedule, organize captures into matters, verify your stored captures and check a manifest hash in ProofSnap's public ledger. Each finished capture comes with a download link and its manifest hash. Intended for lawyers, compliance teams, journalists, investigators and anyone who needs to show later what a web page displayed. Sign in with a ProofSnap account.

Release notes
1.0.1: tool annotations corrected after review. Billed tools and tools that reach public services (capture_web_page, compare_captures, certify_hash, create_schedule, set_schedule_status) are marked destructive and open world; add_captures_to_matter is marked idempotent. Tool descriptions now state every side effect (OpenTimestamps proof, legal hold on matter additions, pausing and resuming schedules, the download link). Sending the page address to the Internet Archive is off unless the user asks for it. Cost confirmations show counts, not amounts, and plan notices link to the informational pricing page. Initial release: capture, compare, schedules, matters, verification and public ledger lookup.
Declared in the saved package. Remote tools may change independently.
