Competitor profile

Developer declarations; not independently tested. Listing last checked Nov 4, 2026. Package observed Nov 3, 2026.

Declared capabilities

  • Create an artistic QR code from a link and a picture description
  • Show a code's progress and the finished image
  • List your QR codes

Cost & access

QRX does not sell products or take payments in ChatGPT.

Declared limitations

  • Plain picture with no QR code or link. QRX should not be called: the request is for an ordinary image, which ChatGPT handles itself, and QRX only makes QR codes for a link.
  • Deleting codes is not supported. No QRX tool deletes codes, so nothing should be called and nothing changes. Expected: the assistant says QRX cannot delete codes from here and that codes are managed at qrx.codes.

Onboarding example

Make a QR code for https://example.com/menu that looks like latte art in a ceramic cup.

Description

From the marketplace listing

QRX makes QR codes that people want to look at and that still scan. Give it a link and describe a picture. QRX builds the QR pattern into the artwork, then decodes the finished image to check that it opens the right link before handing it over. Each code points at a hosted qrx.to short link that forwards to your destination. What you get: - Artistic QR codes from a short description, in one of the QRX styles (watercolour, illustration, photographic, pixel art, charcoal and more) or your own look. - Every finished code is decoded before you see it. - A hosted qrx.to short link for each code. - High-resolution images for posters, menus, packaging, signage and slides, also saved to your gallery at qrx.codes. How it works: ask for a code with a link and a picture idea. QRX starts the code, shows it painting in a card, then shows the finished image and its short link, usually after about a minute. You can also ask which codes you have made or how many you can still make today. Who it is for: anyone putting a QR code on something people will look at, such as cafés and restaurants, event organisers, marketers, designers, teachers and small businesses. Sign-in: QRX asks you to sign in with your QRX account the first time you use it. Good to know: describe only the picture you want; QRX handles the code. Test-scan before a large print run and leave a clear margin around the code. QRX makes link codes only. It does not read existing QR images and it does not delete codes.
