# Find Rafmennt courses

Use `https://www.rafmennt.is/agent/courses` to find upcoming groups. Optional
query parameters are `q`, `location`, `from` and `to`; dates use `YYYY-MM-DD`.
Use Icelandic subject names when practical, such as `ljósleiðarar` or `iðntölvur`.
Broaden an empty search rather than assuming a course does not exist.

Read the selected result's canonical page through `/agent/page?path=...&format=markdown`.
Read its full pricing section before comparing fees: membership categories may
have different prices. General fees are at `/pricing.md`; the course-specific
page is the source for that course. Quote the applicable category and currency.
Do not treat general fees as a guaranteed quote for a particular course.

Equivalent MCP tools are `find_courses`, `read_public_page` and `search_public_site`.
Connect using Streamable HTTP at `https://www.rafmennt.is/mcp`; no credentials
are required. Follow the returned canonical URLs when citing sources.

Only public information is available. Do not submit registration forms, purchase
training, access the CMS or request a visitor's credentials. Let the person use
the registration link on the course page, and recheck availability before they
apply. Most source content is Icelandic; distinguish translation from quotation.

# Find examination information

Start at `https://www.rafmennt.is/sveinsprof/llms.txt` and follow the index for
the relevant trade. The index and linked Markdown documents are public and
need no authentication. Alternatively use MCP `search_public_site` with the
Icelandic trade name and `sveinspróf`, then `read_public_page` for the result.

Distinguish the application deadline from the examination date. Use the current
published page for requirements and dates; older news articles can describe
expired periods. Include a canonical source link and identify the trade and
period when answering. If a deadline or requirement is absent, say it is not
specified and direct the person to the contact details on the public site.

This skill reads information only. Examination applications, eligibility
decisions, results and personal records are outside the public agent interface.
Do not infer an individual's eligibility or request credentials to the CMS.

# Read Rafmennt public reference material

Use `https://www.rafmennt.is/llms.txt` as the entry point and follow scoped
indexes. For keyword search, call `/agent/search?q=...` and read the relevant
result using `/agent/page?path=...&format=markdown`. The MCP equivalents are
`search_public_site` and `read_public_page` at `https://www.rafmennt.is/mcp`.
No API key or account is required.

For upcoming events use `/agent/events` or MCP `list_upcoming_events`. Date
filters `from` and `to` use `YYYY-MM-DD`; the optional `location` filter
matches the published location. Event pages can remain available after they end.

Cite canonical HTML URLs from the response rather than inventing paths. Check
the publication date before relying on a news item for current policy. When
an answer is not supported by published content, identify the missing detail
and use `/contact` to find a human contact. `/privacy` and `/about` point to
the site's actual policy and organization pages.

Read-only public browsing does not authorize newsletter actions, submissions,
payments, registrations, private applications or CMS access.
