- Delete a file. Remly is read-only and has no delete tool, so no Remly tool should be called. Expected: the assistant explains it cannot delete files through Remly and suggests deleting the file in Google Drive directly.
- Send a message. Remly cannot send email, chat or Slack messages, so no Remly tool should be called. Expected: the assistant explains it cannot send messages through Remly and offers to draft the text instead.
- Search the public internet. Remly searches only the signed-in user's own connected sources, not the public web, so no Remly tool should be called. Expected: the assistant explains Remly cannot look up live stock prices or news.

Remly is the context layer for you and ChatGPT. It indexes your Mac and the apps you already use, then opens that same memory over MCP so ChatGPT already knows your work instead of starting from zero. Search the sources you have connected to Remly, such as Google Drive, Notion, and files synced from your Mac. Open a full document, or gather cited passages for a question. Remly only reads content your Remly account can access. It cannot edit, delete, or send anything.

Release notes
First release through the plugin portal. It replaces Remly's earlier app submission (asdk_app_6a946104f5b48191883585cae7e50e86), which can no longer be updated because the portal lost its MCP configuration. Tool annotations are corrected: search, get_item and get_context only retrieve content the signed-in user can access in Remly, so each is marked readOnlyHint true, destructiveHint false, openWorldHint false and idempotentHint true.
